Hi! Am Ember, London based, late 20s, furry - jackal, more precisely. I do math, I do juggling, rarely make bad art, and I suit at #LFM more often than not. Don't be shy, come say hi! Here's something I put together a bit ago - truth/lies there are about half and half. Feel free to ask about any!

20h

Suit soup!

I think some of my coworkers would relate over getting a new dog brush that just _works_. I think those coworkers would relate less if they knew I don't own pets.

And that's a wrap on MCM! Did end up doing a fullsuit Sunday too. So happy. So tired. So much washing up to do. See some of y'all at LFM next week!

#FursuitFriday at MCM Comic Con survived! In summary: Fullsuiting time from leaving my flat to returning: 7.5h Liquids drunk: 4L Pee breaks: 0 Good interactions: ~50 Bad: ~1.5 Photos of me: ~30 Photos I'll ever see again: 1 (thanks @ushiogaming.bsky.social!) Would I do it again: yes... next year.

Bumped into @emberjackal.bsky.social at comic con! Always a pleasure!

_The Shencomix meme_ Or maybe I could fit another fullsuiting day in...

I would like to thank my biggest fans, Noctua 40mm stuck in Ember's nose, and handheld KiCa 2, as well as EZCoolDown vest. Mad that when I first got the fullsuit, 2-3h was my absolute limit before heatstroke risk.

Update! If you're heading to CFZ, we've chatted at least once, and would like a spot in a doubles room - DM me and let's chat.

Ember@emberjackal.bsky.social

Hey! Are you someone I know IRL, heading to CFZ, and need a roommate/room? Looks like my roomie won't be able to make it, so I'll be searching for one. Waiting on lottery to know if I have anything to offer up (i.e. main/other of key hotels), but if you're interested - pop a DM or reply here ^^

(also, if for some reason my DMs aren't open, reply here - I genuinely searched for the setting and failed to find it)

(sorry, no ffriday from me today. Been dealing with some life stuff and the mood's not there. Hope yours is going better!)

Every time I wash my fursuit, I'm disgusted by colour of water poring out and promise I'll do it more often. But it feels like one outing on gravel already leaves feetpaws a magnet for brown sludge!

Throwback to Pride march with the Price group that happened on Pride mo- first week of July, actually. Was fun! Goal for next year is to get cardio to a point I can dance along the whole route and not get winded :3 Happy #FursuitFriday all, stay silly! 📷: @dracorumorder.bsky.social

Happy #FursuitFriday! Have a cookie. Non fungible. Non refundable. Non AI generated. Slightly dusty. Requested by a website. High in protein. Also high in sugar. Consult your GP or pharmacist if this cookie is right for you. 📷 @nohakitsune.bsky.social

Happy #FursuitFriday! Enjoy the warming weather, longer evenings, and... pollen season. At least a fursuit does all right in filtering those out, I hear.

Throwback to Ainmhicon - been an amazing time, and will be next year as well! Went in there intentionally hardly knowing anyone, came out with several lovely friends. Here's to more next year! Happy #FursuitFriday all, see some of youse next LFM! 📷: @dairishgoat.bsky.social

it's funny how, while I don't directly follow much suggestive content, I like to browse "popular with friends". And sometimes, I can _clearly_ tell someone recently was on a certain liking spree by the content.

Did you know? Authorities hide this from you, but dergs in the part are ALSO free to just take. I have 84 dergs in addition to the shork collection, and my landlord's getting antsy. 🐉: @whitetxt.dev 📷: Magnumfluffydragon (furtrack)

*pant* Aren't we *gasp* supposed to have *snort* have deer for this? Huskies? Anything? #FursuitFriday 📷 @matsubear.bsky.social

Did you know? Authorities hide this from you, but shorks in the part are ALSO free to just take. I have 427 shorks in my house and the collection keeps growing. #FursuitFriday 🦈 @shorki.bsky.social 📷 @wojowu.bsky.social

Not technically #FursuitFriday, but I really want to show off this lil boyo that recently got fired and is now a full fledged clay fox shaped jackal. He ain't perfect, but neither am I, and so he'll hang around my place long as I can.

You hear that? That faint sound, cracking and popping? That's the sound of working week giving way to #FursuitFriday and then to the weekend. 📷: @matsubear.bsky.social 🧵: @argetandlazuli.bsky.social (head)/ @luminousdragon.bsky.social (all else)

And with that, I've gotten me some lovely celebrating done and I'm officially 30. I believe this is supposed to make me wiser and more responsible. None of this whimsy stuff. A true manly man. Sweating testosterone. No time for games or fun, just grind. Anyways, this is how I plan to spend my 30.

10 July

Happy #FursuitFriday everyone! This will be last one in my 20s - I'm officially entering the "actually, this is just same as my 20s" decade! Just want to shout out the fandom as a whole for all the years of great fun - it genuinely has been the highlight of my life. To celebrate, my fave pic ever!

Happy #FursuitFriday! I'm so excited for the weekend, can't wait to go to a meet and suit up... in 30deg heat... with a chance of rain. At least I had practice at #Furizon! 📷: draco892.bsky.social

Wanted to tinker with a little something for the month.

I'd also like to reming that June is also Men's Mental Health Awareness month. It's very easy to forget, bottle up, or ignore things. It's very easy to feel like it's rude to ask. And sometimes, it has terrible consequences.

That friend you haven't heard from in a while? The other one who seems cheerful but you catch them somber sometimes when they let the guard down? Your best bud that is utter lad and would never talk about this? Please, pick at least one this month and reach out. It might mean more than you think.

Happy Pride month! May your days be joyful as you wave the flags that best represent you.

You know? I've not done one of these almost ever, so - yeah! Let's give it a go. (shamelessly stolen list, by the way - but looks fun!)

3. Early spring would be it! For weather - slightly cloudy, no rain, something like 10-15 degrees. Warm enough to go out with tshirt and hang out outside, cool enough to fursuit. No pollen yet. Bliss.

4. Cheers me up... gotta say, friends! Hanging out, spending time, yapping topic serious and not, hugging, and just being together. Also, any event with atmosphere of "we're all here to have a good time" - furry/comic cons, concerts. I'm finding that I enjoy discos/raves, which was a surprise to me!

1. I don't drink tea much - I know, very un-british of me. But when I do - very little sugar (or possibly honey if available!), and about double the milk anyone English would put. Goes great for breakfast warming up.

2. Ooh, honestly not certain. I do love a good, freshly made apple pie with ice cream, though it's a rare joy. I will also give a shoutout to a desert from home called Tinginys (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tinginys). Amazing but you gain weight just by looking at it.

29 May

Classic 5 stages of fursuit washing: • That's barely foaming, I should add more detergent. • Just a tiny bit more... • Actually, it was enough before. • Actually it was way too much. • Guess we bubble bath now.

Suit soup's ready!

Oh shoot is it #FursuitFriday? Gah I'm losing my weekdays with these cons (and I love it) Hope everyone's recovering from heat, con crud, and PCD well! 📷 @theangeldragon2.bsky.social

Finishing up packing and leaving CFZ soon... goooooood con. (I apparently say this about every con. They're just all good.)

Heading to #ConFuzzled tommo! Hope to see you there ^^ ✅ Boops, hugs, photos... snuggles? ✅ Stickers! (may need to fish it out from bag) ✅ Ask what that juggling thingy is called ✅ Ask if I'm overheating (yes) ❌ Don't be a creep ❌ Respect common sense boundaries ❌ No 📷 out of suit See you soon!
