Large numbers of Redwings around Ely this morning, had a flock of 50+ birds, then smaller pockets anything from 6 to 20 birds.

Just watched the Film ‘Tenzing’ on Apple TV, Brilliant film, so refreshing to see the conquest of Everest from what I had been led to believe growing up, Tenzing was not a Sherpa, he was very much part of the climbing team and I would argue he was the first to conquer the mountain.

Was out on my morning walk earlier today and was wearing my Prostate Cancer UK hoodie, a Car drove past me turned around and came back, stopped and wound down his window and said “I have just finished my treatment for Prostate Cancer”. We then had a long chat about our treatments.

This is one of my pet hates, I recently purchased a household appliance from a well known company online, arranged delivery via phone call, had to wait to activate the one year guarantee, then had the hard sell for extended warranty from a patronising sales person. Puts me off every time.
