Our current government officials and corporations are getting rich, while the poor are pushed toward destitution, the middle class are becoming poor, and the affluent closer to being middle class. If we lift up the poor among us, the rest benefit. If we lift up the wealthy, everyone else suffers.

I am definitely not perfect, but someone needs to call this shite out. "They devour widows' houses" is a truly apt description of those who ask poor people to give everything they have and trust God to care for them.
