This morning @greenparty.org.uk has called for the EHRC’s harsh and ill-considered guidance on single-sex spaces to be withdrawn. As it stands the guidance puts trans people at risk of discrimination & violence, and clearly hasn’t been drawn up with trans people’s input. I’ll be pushing for better.

It's nearly end of term!! Just 10 days left...... #peri #violinteacher #schoolteaching

I think teachers and pupils both struggle with accepting a compliment sometimes - it's always a hard one to balance! It's extremely important to make compliments genuine and thoughtful when teaching music - and not just default to like "yeah that was good" 😅

Noticing a distinct lack of Violas on bluesky! Where are all the violists at? Here are my own 3 instruments (in order) - 16.5" Dürr, 17 3/4" Ashford, and 17" Milward violas! Anyone know where the classical music communities / classical musicians are at? #musician #viola #violin #classicalmusic

Eyyyyy I'm on bluesky! Nice to see y'all 👋 Have a pic of our cat Ada loafing in my pupils' violin case as thanks for visiting.

A lil comic to get me started on here. Hiya 👋 #comics
