my homepage turned 2 years old this month ^-^ i wrote about recent homepage/computer housekeeping i've been doing like bringing the time machine up to date along with some other thoughts. other than that, it's been a fairly offline summer for me (intentionally.) blog post: ellesho.me/page/website...

added a little sign on my homepage with tips for personal site making ^-^ sometimes i get emails asking for advice on how to approach starting a homepage so i thought i'd write it on my page. i point to some more technical resources in my blog post about this: ellesho.me/page/website...

new blog entry update: crying, screaming, throwing up over the jdrama series i'm watching, some reminiscing about the past, and adding a boba recipe to my personal homepage to make it more personal ^-^ ellesho.me/page/website...

i made an ultralight mini site for my homepage that u can visit in terminal (⌒_⌒;) new blog post about recovering from my vertigo and the world getting worse and 2026 plans and more. read it here: ellesho.me/page/website...

how's everyone been around here? i've been mostly offline, spending a lot of time tinkering with linux so there aren't many new front facing homepage changes, just little behind the scenes edits. if you want to read about my recent linux adventures, here's a new post: ellesho.me/page/website...

you ought to make a website. you ought to make it a canvas, a great irrigated field, a confessional booth. make it an amphitheatre, a private tea service with friends, a graveyard, a bedroom, the sunset light through shutters. you ought to make a personal website, make it carefully, make it home

i finally gave in to using embedded fonts after i looked at my homepage on linux and decided the generic fonts weren't cutting it (⌒_⌒;) i also added some more people to the blogroll and some other stuff read about the updates on my blog: ellesho.me/page/website...

only small homepage updates this week. i added a subtle animated transition on the source viewer and fixed some of the ascii art and formatting i was going to write about some other stuff in my blog but it just turned into a rant about the ai ghibli slop trend ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ellesho.me/page/website...

i think we (as internet explorers) need to be ok about only being a part of small communities and not get fomo around mega platforms if we really want to form real connections again
