Christmas episode now ready to unleash in the munchiest part of the festive season. For anyone interested in an EggPod / Top Flight Time Machine crossover, you’re in for a treat… @tftimemachine.bsky.social @andydawson.bsky.social @delaneyman.bsky.social

Probably the highlight of the Rubber Soul box is the accompanying book - in particular these early Norwegian Wood lyrics. Is anyone able to decipher them…?

I once had a girl Or should I say She once had me She fell for my mind That’s what she said I dig your head She took me to tea And for my part I took her ??? She told me her life was a drag and she needed ??? (some fun?) ….?

For more than a year I’ve been immersed in 1960s music magazines alongside a non-stop pirate radio soundtrack. I genuinely don’t know when I am anymore (and it’s SO GOOD) Can’t wait to share what I think *really* happened

@eggpod.bsky.social listened again to the McCartney ‘Tug of War’ podcast from April 2020 (with Andy Miller) over the weekend..the ‘Take it away’ promo was mentioned.. so though you’d like to see this from ‘club sandwich’ issue 27 from 1982 (assuming you’ve not already got this :)

"Records could take you places. Sound pictures. That is what it was all about". THIS. And it's why we pore over music magazines 60 years after the fact. This series has been a delight. Can't wait for the next one! (Although I will because @chrisshaweditor.bsky.social deserves a rest!)

This whole series has been wonderful but of course the episode with David Hepworth to end it out is particularly sublime. Definitely worth an investment of your time!

What another fantastic interview, Maureen’s stories and insights into 1960’s rock stars incredible. Kieth Moon must have been a nightmare to be close to.

I've just spent a v pleasant hour listening to this. It's one of the funniest encounters I've ever heard. Andy Bown channeling his inner Nigel Tuffnel to hilarious effect.

Happy Revolver day! Here’s that source photos image that ended up all over the web uncredited. It was researched by Beatles fan (and great help for my Sgt Pepper source photos project) Sergey Obod. Yay, Sergey!

Never came across Ron Geesin before. I went straight to A Raise of Eyebrows afterwards. It's a charming album to go with this charming episode. I confess I've also got a Pink Floyd shaped hole in my brain so listened to Atom Heart Mother for 1st time too. It's ace! Thank you for the introduction!

Another cracking episode. I've loved all the brilliant little stories over the last few that make you rethink what you know about classic albums and moments in time. Which I suppose is the whole point of EPExp when you think about. But just to say, it's working really well Chris. Love it.
