Tried to debug a pretty messy SCSS structure and switched to the Opus Model on Claude code. It is indeed "smarter" and more thorough. Will change models more in the future. Gotta remember using Haiku for simple things...

My first experience with Claude Code was quite amazing. I use it strictly in BDD mode, which I configured. First, I work on a guide on how to implement, then let it implement all the tests, I review, and then finally I let it write the feature, test and run a configured git sequence. #claudecode

Never forget that, when people trying to tell you AI will replace everything: "The first step of successfully using AI is problem awareness. You need to be an expert in your domain first and then bring AI in later." (as heard on the @anthropic.com AI fluency course)

Coining the term “identity politics” was a branding win for the right. It made it look like politics that centered Christian straight white males is normal and everything else an aberration. But eventually these other identities started winning rights and asking for equity.

More and more governments are realizing Apple taxing every developer 30% of revenue and banning entire categories of apps without any alternative is an overreach. Imagine if Microsoft did this with Windows. We’d be up in arms yet it’s tolerated when Tim Apple does it.

I was recently introduced to the concept of “hypernormalization” coined to describe the Soviet Union. Hypernormalization is when the economic and social system is obviously broken, but instead of fixing it, people just accept it as normal because the truth is too complex or inconvenient to change.

At least in the German-speaking world, household appliances like washing machines or dishwashers could profit from some UX/UI design. There are so many settings that no one understands, and in the end, we just use one for everything...

Its highly likely that AI will cause practical professions (aka blue-collar) to become much more valuable in comparison to knowledge workers. Someone needs to keep the hardware working...

It’s just remarkable how Trump wants all these Arab Countries to take in Palestinian refugees while he throws all of our refugees away because of the supposed dangers they impose on America.

Happens very often, especially in health care. Show some respect, understand and then innovate. That's how we progress.

if what’s happening at USAID feels vaguely familiar it’s because some smug tech bro once posted “it’s so easy, i could code that in a weekend,” dismissing a nuanced project you and an org worked on for years that douchebag mindset has stormed the castle

The best answer to the broad tariffs of the US is targeted ones linked to businesses that politicians close to Trump care about. It's an oligarchy, so let's treat them as such. #tariffs
