The Hunter's Moon closely aligns with the liminal festival of Samhain (the precursor to Halloween). In Celtic lore, the veil between the physical world and the spiritual realm is at its thinnest, making it a sacred time for honouring our ancestors. Art my own. #FullMoon #OctoberMoon #Folklore

Must remember to never click the 'Discover' tab and stick to 'Following'! It's like wandering into a dodgy side street!

Rainy, windy and cold! 🌧️🔥 So here's a little cosy throwback WIP because although I'm painting, I'm also battling gloomy-day photography! 😂 Orange tabby snoozing in an armchair by the fire. 🧡🐈 Have a cosy weekend! 🧡 #CatArt #Whitby

Is anyone else really struggling to be productive because it's all starting to feel a bit pointless? I keep looking at the aisles and aisles of landfill fodder in the shops and thinking, am I just adding to the problem by creating more 'stuff'?

Our central heating kicked in this morning and there is condensation on the windows. I might actually need a coat today!

Confession time. I had never tried a crisp sandwich until earlier this year. I'm 51 and have obviously lived a sheltered life. I'm now happy to report that a cheese and onion crisp sandwich in white with an inch of butter is now my go to evening snack when dinner hasn't hit the spot.
