I think it’s crazy the choices at the movie theater include Avengers Endgame and Power Trip

Shout out to Tryp and Denby’s coffee for sponsoring the gift bags at our screenings this week

There's still time to see Power Trip in theaters with live Q&As from @patrickhwillems.bsky.social, Amir Arison, Julia Knitel, @dwisk.us, and @nandovmovies.bsky.social

I’m excited to kayak to the theater tonight

The best part of seeing Power Trip in theaters is watching people argue about it in the lobby afterwards

If you are a member of the film/entertainment press and unable to attend any of our Power Trip screenings, we're also happy to share digital screeners for review. press@nebula.tv

Ed Sheeran’s statement is going to be studied in PR classes for years to come the same way the “sorry you were offended” statements of the 00-10s have been. There were so many empty statements he could have made that would have been frustrating to some but ultimately forgotten in a few days.

Ed Sheeran’s tour of North and South America was plunged into chaos Tuesday when four of his supporting acts — including his touring band — abruptly quit in solidarity with the rapper Macklemore, who was dropped for making pro-Palestinian comments onstage.

When you go to Picturehouse in London now you’ll see they still have the candy station branded as the Snack Zone. We didn’t make them do that. They’re just fans.

Taking over movie theaters is fun. Regal / Picturehouse / Cineworld are such great partners. This whole process has been a dream come true.

We talked about Power Trip in in 4DX and Regal was totally on board but the whole movie takes place in a car so the experience would kinda just be brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Power Trip, unlike, say, Jet Lag, isn’t established IP. We didn’t expect these to sell out instantly, nor do we want them to. We want people to be excited to see the movie, not just a popular YouTuber. We want to earn it.

This is also why we’re starting in NYC before doing a wide release. We want word of mouth. We want to build up steam. We don’t have a million dollar marketing budget for a $90k short film. This can’t be brute forced.

That's right, Power Trip is getting a theatrical release, starting in NYC 9/24-9/30. All of the love in the world to the team at Regal for making this happen and putting a spotlight on creator-led cinema. Runtime is ~25 minutes, followed by a Q&A with me and other folks who helped make the movie.

Power Trip comes to Regal Cinemas for one week this September.
