Amazon is now inundated with various crosswords. So I put a unique drop (for now) into this flood. Software Diagnostics, Observability, and Debugging Crosswords (ISBN-13: 978-1919135045).

This is the first time I haven't set LocalDumps on a new laptop as the first thing, and I instantly regretted it when Explorer disappeared on Sunday while copying +100,000 files. Rectifying now.

Nice-to-the-touch matte cover, ultra-premium color printing inside, a few snippets of AI output inside are on a light yellow background to distinguish them from my own writing, and half the book is pictures of books I was/am reading.

Quick test for Surface Ultra WSL Ubuntu CUDA available: True GPU: NVIDIA RTX Spark N1X (6144-core Blackwell RTX GPU) Result for x @ x device: cuda:0 Despite the initial 3-hour install "ordeal", I'm quite happy with my new pet machine...

It's not good that the newly opened Surface Ultra laptop has been stuck on "Just a moment..." for more than an hour and keeps doing the same thing after forced reboots. Preparing a recovery drive. Highly disappointed...

I got a proof copy of Optimization Across Disciplines: A Transdisciplinary Field Guide to Better Choices, Designs, Systems, and Works (ISBN-13: 978-1919135007) a week ago. The interior ultra-premium color printing quality is excellent, and the book also has a nice-to-the-touch matte cover.

The bonus article, Optimization in Software Diagnostics, Observability, Memory Dump Analysis, Trace and Log Analysis, and Debugging: An Evidence-Governed Framework for Better Diagnostic Decisions, is also included. I will start reading it with a pen for any future corrections and additions.

I used to eye these volumes a few years ago because of my perennial interest in semiotics, but they were very expensive. I discovered today that they are now available on Kindle at a fraction of the price, so I added them to my commute reading.

I got a proof copy of Mathematical Concepts in Software Diagnostics and Software Data Analysis (ISBN-13: 978-1919135038) a few days ago. The interior ultra-premium color printing quality is excellent, and it also has a nice-to-the-touch matte cover.

I got a proof copy of Category Theory for Software Diagnostics, Observability, and Debugging (ISBN-13: 978-1919135014) a few days ago. The interior ultra-premium color printing quality is excellent, including nice to touch matte cover.
