Many people reach out and are unclear. What is ethical implementation of AI in healthcare? Here is the simplest answer: Augmenting, but not replacing, human judgment, and prioritizing patient welfare. Use to AI to help, but still lean on human guided care. #ai #healthcare #innovation

AI changes how we provide and receive care. It's not enough to implement AI in the healthcare industry. Any AI innovation needs to be transparent, explainable, and fair. AI should improve decision-making without compromising patient trust or ethics. #ai #healthcare #innovation

I learned 3 important lessons from implementing generative AI in healthcare technology: 1. Providers are able to improve patient outcomes 2. AI helps clinicians elevate their quality of life 3. AI helps with solving supply-demand in mental and behavioral health. #ai #healthcare #ehr #innovation

There was a fourth one: 4. Generative AI tool can help new entrants in the behavioral space field learn how to write better and compliant notes.

How much more can gen AI models improve? Not much. It is possible to deploy an AI tool in healthcare, in a very unbiased, ethical and explainable manner. Given these models are trained on public data, couple of patient encounters won't necessarily improve AI output. #ai #healthcare #ehr
