Me: I’m going to be a good Brit today- reserved, respectful, polite and adhering to high standarts of manners and etiquette. Also me: 🎶 🎵 Das letzte Mal, als wir uns sahen Hell war der Mond und die Nacht voll Schatten Fühlte ich das Unheil nahen Hell war der Mond und die Nacht voll Schatten 🎶 🎵

Had the greatest few days doing what I love doing - judging and talking beer, but now my introvert hangover is manifesting strong and I need a few weeks hibernation… fat chance though, so for anyone trying to get anything sensible out of me, bear with for the time being - power saving is activated

Those few minutes in the the morning, in a new city, you’re showered and ready for breakfast but are still waiting for others to get ready, the whole day seems stuffed to the brim with potential

This may be the hill I'll die on, but it's once again time to remind the beer world that "Oktoberfest, my culture is not a costume" is valid. Don't be disrespectful - don't be a dick.

Last time I was in Liverpool on a beer mission I was carrying a copy of Dante’s Inferno (didn’t bother with Purgatorio and Paradiso for some reason), a bike light and a woolly hat. Will I top this collection of haphazardness this time around @chimprocket.bsky.social ?!

Popped the cork on a beautiful beer today! Highly misunderstood, hugely celebrated, perfect for celebrating! Tilquin Oude Riesling A L'Ancienne (8.1% ABV)

This afternoon I purposely drank a light struck beer I kept in the February sunshine for three days. Certainly not amazing, definitely not great, just a bit meh. Don’t get me wrong, the beer was faulty, but not undrinkable. Interesting to say the least 🍺

#BeerSky I need you help re: water chemistry: does anyone know/brew a beer,e.g pale ale, with Burtonised water,as well as brewing said same beer with the water adjusted to suit Dunkel and stouts? I’m trying to get a real life example to fully understand the importance of the right water in brewing.

Whenever I’m in Belgium, my first beer has to be a Jupiler, no compromises. Can’t say why or how this came to be, but it’s one of those tradition that I hold dear and shall continue
