The argument is misplaced. Educated, urban affluent voters generally don't need institutional day care; they have nannies. But lots of young voters--both urban & non-urban--are two income families out of necessity, and free day care would be important.

That strikes me as desparate--does Ellison need an investor that badly? Musk as a significant equity owner--and he'll want a seat on the board--will alienate a lot of creatives in film and TV.
