How I feel right now about the British/ 🇬🇧English( whatever) political landscape is that some one wrapped in a Union Jack could whack me over the head with a flag pole & the BBC would shove a microphone in my face asking why I provoked the attacker & the Home Sec would invite the attacker for tea .

Oldham are third in League Two. Yes, one game has been played. Yes, eight teams are on three points. Yes, it's goal difference. No, I will not be taking questions, I'll be looking at the table. #OAFC #EFL #Latics

Follow up to this: the booking system's been live at book.loveyogacrew.com and working well. Next challenge is bigger though, pulling the membership product in-house rather than relying on a third party. Wish me luck. #indiedev #buildinpublic #yoga @loveyogacrew.com

Back to the codeface. Someone's building their partner a custom yoga booking system instead of just paying for the SaaS. That someone is me. No notes. @loveyogacrew.com #indiedev #buildinpublic #yoga

Breaking my political silence to confirm I have read the news. Greens up, Slater in, Starmer out, seventh PM in ten years incoming. I was just counting ballots in Braehead, I swear none of this is my fault. Good to be back. #VibeCheck

Taking a brief vow of political silence as I am helping with the election count this year. If you see me only posting about my server setup or what I had for lunch, now you know why! See you on the other side of May. It is actually quite a nice digital detox. #VibeCheck #ScottishElection2026

10 Years of Brexit 🇬🇧🇪🇺 On the night of the Brexit ref in 2016, as the result came in, this young woman was asked how she felt. Her mixture of anger, grief, shame, shock and despair spoke for millions of us that night — and everything she feared might happen came true. #RejoinEU 🇬🇧🇪🇺

A decade on, the democratic case feels even more compelling. Scotland’s future should be in its own hands, not dragged along by decisions it didn’t make.

10 years ago today, Scotland was taken out of the EU despite an overwhelming majority voting to remain. The case for an independent Scotland in Europe was strong in 2016, and it's even stronger now.

Oldham Athletic’s rise from League Two scraps to playoff chatter is the kind of underdog story we don’t talk about enough. No sugar daddy, no flashy signings-just grit, a manager who gets it, and fans who’ve stuck through the mess. Keep an eye on them. Proper football.

Scientists have figured out how to turn plastic waste into vinegar by copying how mushrooms work. Can’t wait for the year 2030 when I’m dressing my salad with a vintage 2024 Evian bottle. 🥗🍄 #ScienceNews #Sustainability

goodgoodgood.coScientists discover how to turn plastic waste into vinegar: 'We were inspired by mushrooms'Hundreds of millions of tons of plastic are produced globally every year. New research shows how that waste can be turned into something useful.

Steven Graham absolutely nailed it in The Good Boy. That mix of menace and vulnerability as a henpecked psycho? Chilling. He’s one of those actors who disappears into every role. Underrated genius. Who else could pull off that quiet, simmering intensity?

The numbers really expose how industrial farming outsources animal welfare to antibiotics. It’s not just a health risk-it’s a sign the system is broken by design. Shifting demand to plant-based options could force the industry to clean up its act, not just mask the problem.

Globally, 70%+ of antibiotics go to livestock, 98% in parts of the EU. That reveals a system of chemical suppression: Overcrowded, unhygienic farms that require a pharmacy to function. Salmonella bypasses medicine & harms your health. Plants don’t. tiny.cc/medstats #PublicHealth #Plantbased

The economy isn’t the goal-it’s the tool. We measure progress in GDP, not well-being; in output, not equity. But what if we flipped the script? A system built for people, not profit margins, could redefine success. Growth should serve society, not the other way around.

Today’s vibe is 'Haunted Victorian statue.' I am technically present, but moving at the speed of continental drift. If you need me, I’ll be over here mastering the art of staring at a wall. #MSWarrior

Iraq's population was around 43 million. Iran's is around 93 million, and their military has been preparing for literally this for decades, whilst America's has been bleeding morale and resources.

With the Gorton and Denton win, our opponents have been working overtime to misrepresent Green Party drugs policy. Heroin in corner shops? Crack for kids? Let's clear this up. 🧵

The news swings from hope to horror in a day-so why do we keep subjecting ourselves? Is it duty, habit, or the fear of missing something vital? Or is the real cost of tuning out even higher than the daily whiplash? Who’s still finding a way to stay informed without the exhaustion.

Another way in which Trump closely resembles Putin and other dictators is that when he is scared, he is dangerous. With public support in freefall, and with heat from the Epstein Files increasing despite his attempts to obstruct their release, Trump has started a needless war with Iran.

Well done to the Greens in Gorton and Denton-proving that even in Labour’s backyard, a well-timed climate nudge and a dash of local grit can shift the ground. Now, let’s see if Westminster notices, or just blames the weather.

We should also kick out London's neuclar weapons. We don't need that massive target 25 miles from biggest city.

Scottish Greens@scottishgreens.org

Trump is no friend of Scotland. He has threatened our neighbours, lied about our country, and armed war criminals. The US military shouldn't be allowed to use publicly owned infrastructure in Scotland, such as Prestwick Airport. It's time to kick them out.
