"Next task? Shall we destroy? Shall we destroy?" I really like the little Quarks from the story The Dominators, they're super cute for one but they also have a little touch of the megalomania that their masters obviously shared with them, but really they are just too cute. Post-It Note art.

Yes please.

Does it include “Simply” is what I want to know… (Fantastic series, as per everyone else mentioning this today)

Really good bunch of comics, right here. Good variety of story, some lovely art, and plenty of creators I’d like to see more from.

Every year the football gets a little bit shitter but this City thing is just cranking up the temperature for this particular boiling frog. Just couldn’t care less about results. To go from Mexico in the quarters to this. Twats.

We had someone Indiana-Jones-roll under the closing shutters. He stood up, dusted himself down and said “well, I’m in now, aren’t I?”

It's that #PortfolioDay again. I'm a carer most of the time so I'm not looking for work but I do like followers and chatting and being included so have a look at some art and follow me if you like it. Some pencil drawings this time for a change.

Reminds me of that old NASA story. They spend millions designing a pen that can write in space. The Russians solve the problem by using a pencil.

On the train to London, in my luxury seat. Gentleman next to me has a cooler full of lager which he is relentlessly working through. Unsure what is in the case. His piss, maybe?

This gets said constantly, but it worth reiterating: Games Workshop being bigger than fishing is important to shout about because you wouldn't know it from government talking points, which are rarely about anything creative or artistic. Growth won't involve fish or steel, it will involve goblins.

Overheard a conversation today about “this documentary that said the reason they killed Jesus is because he was a vegetarian” Me, eight hours later: So, he wore a crown of quorn?

Wondering if any of my moots are planning on going? (If it is a do, like the 40th) Be good to clink glasses/moan about my creaking joints.

This is the most remarkable story Ray Bradbury ever shared with me. He told it to me late one night, sitting in his den of antiquities and mementos. Take five minutes to read this. It’s pure magic. #Writing #Living #Creativity #RayBradbury #BookSky

Just finished the long rewatch of Millennium - “what Chris Carter did next”. It’s a network Se7en to begin with, then, of course, the conspiracy storyline wheedles in. It’s nice to watch a 20 episode season show though, as you can see when the writers can start to play around with the format.

It was cancelled suddenly (after 3 seasons) so didn’t really get much of an ending, so a special X-Files tie-in episode was used to finish things off, with a gear change episode a bit at odds with Millennium. Nice to see Mulder and Scully again, though. (Lone Gunman DVD in the queue for later)

Truly, the end times. This is the business that took over the old record shop where I used to work - Mike Lloyds in Newcastle-u-Lyme. They kept it going for twenty six years. With the same carpet!

Parcel misdelivered today and signed for by the mysterious “B. Dawes”. Eventually tracked it down to Tesco, with it being left at their back doors. B. Doors. B. Dawes.

What’s a poster you had up in your room growing up? (This was like a magic eye picture - hours lost, just staring at Nicole Kidman’s head wondering what part of her body it was attached to)
