another few unexpected benefits to this workflow: -i get all the clips i need at once and it's way less mentally draining because it's not stalling the edit -all the clips can be named and compressed at once before implementing (i didn't compress shit in the past lol) i got all my clips in one day!

once the clips are in, the bulk of the edit is pretty much there and i can move onto animation. so this actually might end up being the fastest i've ever made a video lol
