I am proud to announce my project that has been slowly coming together is finally done! woke.city A collection of either encrypted or federated services i thought would be fun to host for as may people as possible, with a focus on the matrix space (#home:woke.city) to try and get people off discord

I'm like conflicted about the whole praeline situation, because on one hand i'm a firm believer in copyleft so mod tos's are just, silly to me. On the other hand what a crazy hypocritical and shitty thing to do jesus christ fuck you dude. Why are there actual people who respect you?

Maybe its like brainworms but I have to be going crazy feeling like I'm the only person who can recognize the "claude special" in terms of UI design. Like. A shimmie2 booru isn't suddenly going to get good at writing code. (vague-posting because i don't want to ruin fun)

My te reo is *quite bad* and i'm trying to improve it but i hope with there being a start this will help

tfw you go to explainxkcd.com to look up when the randomNumber=4 comic was published in order to joke about today's infosec shitshow, only to find the site is offline due to tomorrow's infosec shitshow

more work on the public xiv matrix space! this time, hunt emojis! you might ask, why? i'm coding an s rank announcement bot and need a way to notify people using keywords, so im just using emojis. so you can set :5.0::s-rank: and then get notified for shb s ranks only as an example

Cecyl!
@dollth.ing

space icons @ job emojis are done packs are all separate so people can export and steal them for their own spaces!

Cecyl!

s ranks done... augh now to make something for each server.. maybe i do something else first

As someone who needs a translator for whatever the tech people are talking about, this was quite helpful as an explanation

between the catastrophic PHP vuln and the intermediate cert vuln and AI models that can turn a proof of concept into a bot net in like 10mins we’re in for a wild 24 hours

planning out a public ffxiv matrix space since there kind of isn't one (not tied to a larger space) and theoretical moderation is fucking hell

simultaneously trying to word moderation for the average matrix dweller and the average xiv player is a clash of 2 worlds that blows

I've said it allot but I highly recommend wafrn to bsky users, you can jump ship with your account and still interact with bsky. Plus fedi & Tumblr like stuff
