@rachbarnhart.com another cautionary tale

a tributary connected to the Hackensack River. Crews have been working to contain and clean up the spill, but the extent of damage to wetlands and wildlife may take time to fully understand. This is exactly why the rapid expansion of massive data centers deserves far more scrutiny!

I saw yesterday that some right-wing outlets were running stories about me, which I’m used to. But this time I’m going to say something about it, because these were framed to imply that I was aligned with their own transphobia. ⬇️

This is very good news!

BlueSky won’t let me share the video, but you can see one of the ICE agents rip a gun out of this man’s waistband *before* the shooting starts. From this angle, it’s hard to see how this was anything but an execution, unless simply carrying a gun is now illegal in America.

I can't tell you how many stories that did air contained words like "so and so was contacted repeatedly for comment, but didn't respond"

Adam Kinzinger@adamkinzinger.substack.com

If refusing to comment is enough to kill a story, then the government now has veto power over journalism. That’s what CBS normalized last night — and it should scare everyone. open.substack.com/pub/adamkinz...

What shall we start calling RFK Jr? "Angel of Death" or "The Grim Reaper"?

The Verge@theverge.com

Since his appointment, RFK Jr. has pursued a brutal vision of American health that several experts liken to a sort of eugenics. Kennedy has made it clear that certain deaths are acceptable or even preferable to a world where every child is vaccinated. Read more: www.theverge.com/health/66136...
