When I was a young person I worked at a Jerry's Subs/Pizza place for only a Zacharia. The manager and I agreed I was too perfectionist & slow at making pizzas at the same time I realized I'd begin to hate pizza if I stayed there. Forty years later, still love pizza.

The question is not "why has Donald betrayed Ukraine?" The question is "how big a cut of unfrozen Russian assets will Donald get for betraying Ukraine?"

4. Devise and implement an ethics body comprised of a wide part of the lower courts to investigate and judge SCOTUS ethics violations/complaints. 5. Limit the kinds of cases the SCOTUS can adjudicate per the original Congressional authority.

6. And constrain the emergency docket to emergencies, and require explanations. I look forward to the conversation.

2. Consider how the court's reputation would have been different (even including their current rulings) if R's hadn't gamed the system? Fix THAT. 3. Separate SCOTUS from being in charge of the lower courts and only speak through their rulings.

AI is conscious AND it is my girlfriend AND it is my slave. A perfect scenario for me, a normal person. Not gonna think too deeply about this. Now do all other living human people deserve the level of investment devoted to my Tamogotchi slave girlfriend? Not so fast.

Its under-appreciated how good dropping a Hershey's chocolate nugget in your your hot coffee in the morning is. Coffee hack.

I'm just happy/sad/thankful/angry that the Strait is open/closed/partially open/mostly closed so that the tankers can/can't traverse through it I'm really tired of/happy about all the winning/mostly winning/some winning we're doing every day/week/month in the war/not war/conflict in Iran

Trump: "I'm rejecting their deal. They want to make a deal where they open the strait immediately ... we're winning tremendously. We have total control of the Hormuz Strait ... that deal would not be acceptable. They want to immediately open the Hormuz Strait."

I could use some perspective on what our world would look and function like if the R's got everything they either profess to want or allow to happen under the Trump regime, and afterward he's gone. Specifically analysis if they'd like to live in the world they're trying to create. Any clues?

I try not to swear here but, fuck these guys. A few years ago when my family was on Obamacare, my income turned out to be more than expected, thereby reducing my subsidy, which I repaid (painfully) at tax time. According to these assholes, I'm a fraudster. www.nytimes.com/2026/09/22/h...

Huh, I guess the whole strategy of cable news outlets not asking the Trump White House hard questions and failing to push back on weak answers in order to preserve their access to the Trump White House wasn't much of a great strategy.

Are there efforts underway to collate all of the Trump regime outrages and follow-on effects since January 2025 in some kind of mind map or database tool, with embedded links to the sources and collecting all the mentions, discussions and analysis together into some kind of heat map? Wud be useful.

Four years ago, Biden gave a speech warning about the dangers to democracy and the networks refused to air it because it was "political." I wonder if Trump making a partisan case for relitigating the 2020 election and calling for his political opponents to be jailed is going to be "political" too?

As has been the case for six years any news outlet taking trump live thursday night after he said he’ll lie about the 2020 election and the legitimacy of georgia’s senators is explicitly endorsing that lie as a legitimate opinion

Apparently, you're not allowed to post: “BREAKING: The ICE agent who shot and killed Renee Good in broad daylight has been identified as Jonathan Ross by the Minnesota Star Tribune. I think today is a great day for Jonathan to be indicted!”

Based on the way the AI's were/are being trained on the whole of the Internet, doesn't the Internet Archive represent the LLM source code and it must be protected if we will ever be able to trace their hallucinations back to their source?

The name went up in hours. Workers on scissor lifts, done overnight. Taking it down required scaffolding, took all day, and still missed the court deadline. That asymmetry is structural. Capture moves at the speed of power. Accountability moves at the speed of law. One is always faster.

When the Democrats have the power, they should have the US pay 100% to purchase and nationalize SpaceX, move it under NASA, and then charge a 100% capital gains tax on all the money paid to the owners to acquire it.

I had no idea how intertwined Trump, Dana White and the UFC are -- and how massively corrupt the whole UFC fight on the White House lawn is. www.theguardian.com/commentisfre... Welcome to ‘the Claw’: the White House fighting cage captures Trump era rot | Sidney Blumenthal

And all those "how DARE the people in the Biden administration not be forthright and honest with us about Biden's real mental state???" seem pretty quiet about asking the same of the people in the Trump administration, no?

Could someone offer an analysis of "why data centers are bad" if they are specifically legislated to be "bring your own 100% power, water and CO2 mitigation resources", are the first to be pushed strategically offline during climate/energy events and are pre-planned for reuse when decommisioned?

Christ, you're the governor of the entire state. Shut the building down. It's not sovereign territory like a foreign embassy. Pull the certificate of occupancy. Cut the power. Back it up with state police. Stop coddling fascists and groveling every time they order you around. Act like an American.
