As I prepare for Rosh Hashanah and then Yom Kippur, I am reflecting on cheshbon hanefesh (an accounting of the soul) and considering how my words and actions (and inactions) have contributed to genocide. Signing this letter is only a small part of breaking my own silence, again and again.

Horrifying on so many levels. Add to it that 8 doctors had already filed gender discrimination complaints in 2018 about one of the ER doctors responsible for this woman. This isn’t just about overcrowded ERs.

The dehumanization of Palestinians is monstrous. Also, rickets is a preventable and treatable bone disease caused by malnutrition, usually a deficiency of vitamin d, calcium, or phosphorus.

As figure below shows, XBB.1.5 booster strongly (~20-fold) increases neutralization of XBB.1.5 & XBB-descended viruses   Boost mostly specific to newer variants, as increases smaller for older variants like D614G or BA.5.   Also, XBB.1.5 vaccine and XBB infection give similar boost.
