this remains, to me, the single most baffling thing that happens regularly I know it’s a power thing, but how the fuck are SO MANY dudes apparently sending unsolicited dick pictures 24/7 what is wrong with men

Kevin M. Kruse@kevinmkruse.bsky.social

So hard to pick a favorite part of this article. Pretending that sending unsolicited dick pics at 53 was a “youthful indiscretion” is good, but don’t sleep on the argument that his wife forgave him for subjecting other women to unwanted nude photos so everyone else should too

If this is true - and it’s a pretty easy thing to verify or knock down —how can CNN possibly justify keeping Jennings on as a “senior political commentator”?

me, reading the headline: well, he’s a public figure and actual malice is a hard standard to reach me, reading the article: ohhhhhhh

You can do the same thing, buying a house and borrowing against it—ha ha, just kidding, normal people get taxed annually on their wealth via property taxes, the "you can't tax wealth, the economy will collapse!" rule applies solely to the super-rich.

Steven T. Dennis@steventdennis.bsky.social

For the fabulously wealthy, paying taxes is pretty much optional. They can borrow against their vast wealth, which is mostly an untaxed capital gain, without paying taxes. When they die, the capital gain goes to zero. And loopholes exist to bypass the estate tax too.

There are so many different credible allegations about Donald Trump being a rapist, you can almost understand how The New York Times missed the new charges here, but uh, this is supposed to be The New York Times.

Dave Levitan@davelevitan.bsky.social

It is short and so I assume they are looking into things but it is... interesting... that the NYT piece on the new House Dems report on Trump ties to Epstein simply does not mention the brand new rape allegation and says whatever this is instead www.nytimes.com/2026/10/26/u...
