Something they don't tell you about buying a house with anxiety is that suddenly every dollar you have is precious because what if the roof collapses and the pipes burst and you have to replace your entire life and every appliance all at once

Moderation is such a struggle for me. Black or white thinking. "Hey Deth why don't you contribute much in group chats?" Because I can't devote hours of every day reading every message. If I fall behind, it's easier to just give up and never open it again.

How do you just drop in and out of active ongoing conversations? That just feels too chaotic. It's like being at a party but you're part of every conversation happening in every room. Overwhelm. Little cat brain can't handle this. Just let me sit there while you do all the interacting and pet me.
