noodling around with Nero and Cindy's Tomodachi Life fakebabies. needs a bit of work, but I actually kinda like them Prue is a mad scientist like her dad, but she's in it more for fun than prestige; Remi thinks he's an anime villain. :)

new cast member: Vanta. Very Serious and Completely Original Vigilante. Her entire job is to hide in the shadows in a world where the sun keeps coming out, and her dramatic cape is a few inches too long. Enjoys the occasional late-night Krispy Creme cruller.

ridiculous, ultra-quick beat between Nero and Thorn (follow the arrows). everybody's off-model, yaaaay~ not no-homo or anything, they just hate each other's guts :D

finally, I get to introduce this guy from later in the narrative :D at some point, the city decides Thorn needs supervis- er, help. so they assign him a nice, fully-approved, younger, more competent, not-at-all-humiliating partner named Aegis.

Commander Thorn is the city’s specialty hire for managing Nero and Cindy's antics. Thorn is vain, self-important, and SURE he's destined for better things than... whatever this is. (he's not, if you couldn't tell) He also has a talent for embarrassing the mayor almost every time he's called on.

Nero (alias: Dr. Neuro) and Cindy (alias: Incendiary) are mid-tier supervillains in their 30s who are doing just well enough to hold their own in the city, but just poorly enough for it to be embarrassing.

Cindy is Nero's rock: a scary, theatrical femme fatale with a strong taste for gunpowder treason and plo--, er... explosives. Think of the pair as a frightening woman with a tiny, angry purse-dog.
