“Don’t listen to rap because it’s about being poor” is some wild but predictable sht. No joke: she recommends “Viking music” because it’s “empowering.”

The latest sign that MAHA is fracturing. This was inevitable. @derekberes.bsky.social called it out in a piece for AJI: The movement was an inherent contradiction. You can’t deregulate industry and make food and healthcare safer or better.

In college, I worked one shift at a fine dining cafe. I was so frustrated with the "fork goes here, replace this spoon now" nonsense that I walked out and never looked back. After school, I worked as an Olive Garden server for a few months, where silverware wasn't an issue.

Meanwhile, I showed up at Costco for my vaccine yesterday only to find out they were out of my preferred shot. (Luckily, I was able to get a Pfizer vaccine.) Supply chains for vaccines have been suspect in Oregon this entire season. I WONDER WHY.

Our government is kicking millions off of healthcare plans (besides the millions more who can't afford a plan) while Kennedy is funding a trial in Africa that willingly withholds a successful vaccine from babies. www.rollingstone.com/politics/pol...

If it’s a story about a fossil fuel heiress and an anti-vax crank, you know I’m quoted in it 😂 Great reporting by Walker.

NEW: October 17 marks a global event called “Origin,” focused on Earth regeneration. Rather than a movement to directly influence climate policy or polluting companies, Origin promises change through synchronized prayer and body movement. Behind it? A fossil fuel heiress and an anti-vaccine doctor

You can tell how much the MAHA movement values women (aka MAHA Moms) by looking at the speaker list for this week's MAHA Summit: 49 men vs 7 women.

As critical as I am of MAHA and its perverse incentives, the answer is not industry lobbying groups funding influencers. "GAHA" is NOT the way to fight misinformation. (Yeah, that's the acronym some are using.) www.theguardian.com/business/202...
