Hey everyone! A quick Gaslight District update: The team has been working incredibly hard behind the scenes, and it's become one of GLITCH's most ambitious 3D projects yet. We still have a little way to go, but we're so excited with how it's coming together. It'll be worth the wait ❤️

There wasn't any dialogue for this bit, so I had to come up with some lipsync. I had her talking about one piece lmao. I forget what she says exactly, but at the end u can see her say "sun god"

Progression of that long shot. A ton of iterating went into this, I tried to get eyes on this as much as possible. At one point I turned in what I thought was the final, but Goose wanted another Polish pass. That pass added so much more to the shot, gave it so much more life

I don’t have the energy to do another shot progression vid, so I’ll put everything I can come up with here! This bit was a lot of fun, here it is slowed down. I tried to do a lot of Bad Guys spacing/tricks

Still putting together a process video for Digital Circus ep 7, but here's a bit from one of my fav run of shots. I didn't keep the specific workflow playblasts, but I think it's cool to see all the ideas staying the same from ref to final, just becoming more complex and pushed

I stole that idea of her kind of sinking into her shoulder from our senior animator Austan, u can see his anim in my ref. I've also been using it in a bunch of other shots since it feels very ragatha

4,000 officers seems like a very manageable amount of people to bully and mess with. There was a website passed around in highschool called "summon the FBI" that would paste a bunch of , supposedly, flagged terms into Google. I think we need a new one

1. In the immediate aftermath of Charlie Kirk's shooting, the WSJ laundered claims that "transgender symbols" were found with the shooter's gun. Now, a press conference reveals that NO such symbols were found. WSJ owes a full retraction and apology. Subscribe to support our journalism.

erininthemorning.comPress Conference: No "Transgender" Or "LGBTQ" Symbols Found At Kirk's ShootingYesterday, several media outlets claimed or strongly implied that "transgender symbols" were found at the scene of the gun used by Charlie Kirk's shooter. This turned out to be false.

Adjusted for inflation Spirited Away cost $22 million to make. The Triplets of Belleville cost $16.5 million, Cartoon Saloon's Wolfwalkers cost $14.28 million, and Oscar winner Flow cost only $4 million. These critically acclaimed, made by real people films, cost less than this pile of actual vomit.

Knights of Guinevere is a psychological thriller that welcomes you to a planet-wide theme park in the clouds!… And the shadows below, where a broken Princess Android is two dreamers’ tickets to better lives, or the end of them. :3 💙

The Flanderization of ghibli in the public mind is just so insane to me. Acting like it’s entirely wholesome and cutesy but is really overtly anti capitalist, depict the horrors of war and environmental decline, and have TONS of body horror and depictions of death and disease. it legit annoys me

Important new updates to Bill AB1138! TLDR the state legislature wants to take away money from the proposal, while also making it cost more for animation productions to even qualify. Swipe through for more details and what can be done. #keepcaliforniarolling #keepcaliforniaanimating

I love Arsenic and Old Lace, It's got some of my fav Cary Grant acting (everyone in the movie is super fun to watch). I think because it's adapted from the stage play, the acting is way more exaggerated. Thread of some clips:

All of that culminating in this last bit. Not just contrasting his acting from earlier, but the craziness that's happening off screen. Also, great secondary action of getting out a cigarette and lighting it. It's weaved into his primary acting so nicely.
