I went to the Ocean Beach (San Francisco) No Kings event today. It was wonderful. While I was proud to be part of the "E," I had just a titch of "Exclamation Point" envy. Someone had a Jack Smith flag! (Jack Smith, Make America Great Again). Crowd estimate was 2,500.

Several states (including California, Michigan, Oregon, and Wisconsin) have announced that they’ve begun processing full food stamp payments. Thank you to those states for stepping up to support families in need!

In USDA, "multiple people have been asked to report the names of LGBTQ employee resource group leaders to higher-ranking officials, according to interviews with workers and a document reviewed by Mother Jones.” To the 19 Dems who voted for USDA Sec, this is what "go along, get along" begets.

Went to local meeting of Indivisible. Surprised by # of older Americans there. Perhaps Boomers (I'm one) want to make amends. Inspiring. My primary issue is voting rights and I liked the presentation from Sister Districts. Going to put my energies there. But kudos to Indivisible for all it does.

You are up to date.
