D. E. Kelly

RIP Walter. I’ll honor you with ink tomorrow. #chekov #rip #startrek

Too bad Darin Ruf isn’t the assistant hitting coach on the Brewers. #metssky #mlb

So…Ted Lasso….yeah.

The small market is addicted to its own bullshit.

Trail mix is a weird M&M delivery system.

That’s my body. Chris freaky Fridayed me in 2009, sticking me in this one. He also owes me $20.

I need a writing binge day for my novel.

The Criterion closet has lost some prestige. They’ll let anyone in these days. “Dan from Mineola” went inside to warm up. The only movie he heard of was The Breakfast Club but they made him talk about Cassavetes anyway.

I had terrible insomnia last night like I had in the early 2000s. It didn’t feel like anxiety. More like my body forgot how to sleep. So, I watched Obsession. So many thoughts about that ending.

I’m not seeing that doc, but the questions it’s raising among the intelligentsia are the same that get raised in a freshman media studies class when the prof asks does the camera have a point of view?

Malcolm McDowell and Brad Douriff chewing it up in Halloween (2007).

My Friday writing workshop is over and now I have the blues.

Maybe someone has something important to say but your gut reaction is to punch them in the face. Anyway I’ll take a pass on Nathan Fielder.

You got to stop calling the people who adapt comics into tv shows and movies “creators.”

I’ve seen two references to Northern Exposure on here this morning. Is there something in the air?

The lockout, which is spoken with such inevitability and necessity by the owner aligned press, feels even more like the sport shooting itself in the foot. #mlb

Having watched the first season this doesn’t sound like a hard task.

Kevin Cash: “That’s why I pulled him in 2020, bitches.” #dodgers

Gotta say, the neighbors at my last place in LA would have let me know if the Dodgers went up 1 and coughed it up. The game is echoing in the courtyard of this place with 0 reaction. It’s weird.

I can’t even pretend not to hate mingling with other parents at pickup anymore.

Watched the new Baywatch trailer. This one is about boy boobs.

The slow cooker is doing its thing. The bathrooms have gone from 90s Penn Station (children are disgusting) to sparkling clean. I’d say I earned something but have no idea what.

I guess I might as well write some more tonight.

The funniest thing will be when the Mets sign Freddy Peralta in the offseason. #metssky

That’s pretty rich coming from a guy who fucks couches.

Not sure I’m putting my premiere series on at 2pm, but what do I know. #mlb

One of my big problems with the latest Spiderman was his coziness to the cops. Watching it again he sure lets a lot of exploding squad cars fly through the air.

My favorite professor from my MFA program was awarded a MacArthur genius grant. Congratulations @maazamengiste.bsky.social!

Five days left on the Lightspeed & Nightmare kickstarter, and they still need $10k to meet their funding goal! Love short fiction? Go pick up a subscription and help spread the word! www.kickstarter.com/projects/lig...

I thought Tylor was pitching for a minute.

Wtf Brewers?

I do not understand the point of the Brewers if they do not win the World Series. Right now, they are the Buffalo Bills of olden days.

Ah, the casual racism of the first Doctor Who series.

Finally changed the doo.

My favorite character in the new Carrie is the grocery store manager trying to do the right thing. I tapped out of the show after meeting her. I might go back but the discourse exhausted me. The show also seems to be both sidesing its themes. Waiting for the green light on its sequel Shining Academy

My haircut strike ends today.

My goal of watching a horror movie everyday before Halloween isn’t going well. Adulting ruins everything.

Weekly Rewind! Ep143: DC Legacy Marvel Legends G.I.Joe Street Fighter Star Wars Blokees More News!: Hey, let's go over some of the action figures that caught my eye this week like THAT DANG MATTEL DC BATMAN AND THE LEGACY LEAKS, more New York Comic Con reveals from Storm Arena, NECA, Bandai S.H.…

Let’s drive to Pomona on a Friday night said no one ever in the history of time. The things we do for love.

Have tried to keep my goals modest yet I am behind on all of them.

I’m only on the first episode of Carrie but I think it’s a mistake by the writers to believe there’s not a Christian club at that school. Maybe it comes up later. #carrie

My first impression of Carrie is I see two fellas from Battlestar Gallatica playing assholes. #carrie

If YouTube really knew me it would know that I already watched the video and that I will never ever vote for Brian Goldsmith.

@metsuniverse.bsky.social Hey! Quick question. You’re a baseball card collector, right? I just found these cleaning up some boxes. Are they worth anything? Thanks. Feel free not to respond 🤣. Totally understand.

This is the kind of game Joel Sherman prophesied. #yankees

The Bible.

I’m not watching another mystery box show unless Benoit Blanc is involved. Imagine the time we could have saved. #lanterns

Guess the show created by a CIA guy had to have a scene where a prisoner gets tortured. #Lanterns

I think superhero media should just be named for the important issue the people involved think they’re exploring. For example, I just finished watching Nature v. Nurture episode 8.

Oh, good, more talking. #lanterns
