Did you know I have a telegram channel? 😊 t.me/batwingart I am posting more behind the scenes stuff, wips earlier, more detail photos, etc. there :)

The cat with a pearl earring is now (after forgetting it for months) dry and varnished. In real life it looks really intriguing. The colour depth is just amazing. I still have to decide what I want to do with it. Oil on canvas, 60x40 cm

Here are the final photos of the hamster and the hamburger. I had a lot of fun painting all the different textures and surfaces. If I were the hamster, my expression would be exactly the same. :D I hope you like it 😊 Oil on canvas, 60x40 cm, ~65h of work

Perfect for spooky season 👀

Hi 🦇 my name is Decyl I'm a traditional oil painter with focus on hyperrealistic art. I paint animals, fursuit portraits and originals (mostly anthro art). 😊 #PortfolioDay

Fifth (and probably last) wip! Only the tomatos and the top bun are missing. Painting so many different textures is quite fun 😌 - This is painted by me with my hands. No computer tricks. - Oil on canvas, 60x40 cm

Third wip! The lettuce leaf is kinda tedious to paint, but it's almost finished. The meat and the cheese will be much more fun :D I'm as excited as the hamster is 😬 Oil on canvas. 60x40 cm

First wip! This cute hamster is really looking forward to his dinner. :3 I wanted to paint some of my own prepared food, so I made a very tasty hamburger. But just a hamburger would have been too easy :D Oil on canvas, 60x40 cm

After 2 months of work my next deepsky image is finally finished. I wanted to photograph the faint oxygen shell of WR134, which you can see in blue. This was quite challanging, but I think it was worth it. :3 19h narrowband data + 2h for RGB stars Sky-Watcher Esprit 120EDX + ZWO 2600MC Air

I made a mountain of Franzbrötchen. :D If you don't know them, they are basically puff pastry cinnamon rolls. 5 million calories packed into a single pastry. 🤤
