Deckard Holiday

Hey there, I'm Deckard, a dopey elk based out of Denver, Colorado! - Software Dev (Most notably the owner of @furskycreators.bsky.social ) - Audio Engineer (@audioelk.com) - Trackmania Addict 😩 Web: audioelk.com Store: audioelk.itch.io Welcome to my cozy corner :) Ref: @sinibunnn.bsky.social

Not my boomer coworker doing the "my kids are ungrateful and don't visit enough" rant during our sprint planning meeting 🙃

Not feeling well so had to withdraw today. The races I was able to do were a bunch of fun though! Looking forward to participating in other events in the future :)

Ugh, not feeling well today at all. Definitely came down with something. May end up pulling out of the race tomorrow if I'm still feeling like this...

Huge announcement‼️ I just got my car and I'll be racing in IMSA MX-5 cup next season ‼️🎉‼️

Hey, everyone. If you guys can spare some support, I'd like you guys to show some to Kyle and his current situation. He's a very close friend of mine and has always been there for me during my darkest times. He deserves better. Full thread below. If you can't donate, send love or share the post.

I need to do some website updates and writing this weekend. Been too long...

v1.136 is live! Introducing: Profile links We want independent writers, artists, developers, and creators to be able to build and fund sustainable projects on Bluesky. Help your followers know how to support you by adding buttons for Patreon, Ko-fi, your newsletter or website, and more.

Ended up killing any site hosted on my web host. I had a lot of neglected wordpress installations and my AudioElk archive. Those are all gone now. Will figure out a solution to my NSFW AudioElk archive site eventually. For now I'll just have to update the FA links to link to MEGA once it's back up

Happy annual web crisis day!!!!!!

"Hey Deckard are you paying attention to your meeting?" Me, halfway through rearranging all the furniture in the living room: "meeting?"

We're live right now for our second-to-last round of GT3 Season 9! We're back in France, this time at Circuit Paul Ricard -- there'll be some fairly heavy rain when the drivers take the green flag, with drier conditions expected later in the race... Tune in here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=g5_M...

GT World Challenge race starts are terrifying to watch. 61 cars full sending into turn 1 of Portimao is wild

YEAAAA BREWERS LETS GOOOOOO

The fact that I can do a fresh wipe and install of a linux distro and get to playing a game from steam in the same time or less as I would normally with windows is still wild to me.

Warmed up leftover chili tonight since the weather is quite cool :) May have some hot chocolate or something later (let's be real it'll be decaf)

Getting a head start on Christmas this year. Making all my lists of tasks to do (and checking it twice huehuehue) Want to make this apartment cozy af once the time comes :)

Hey. AI reverse engineered software is stupid and will run like shit. Assuming it runs at all. Support proper alternatives and FOSS instead. Until next time~

I need a vacation...

Me watching the Packers go up by multiple touchdowns against the Bears in the first half

Welp, race ended early. Got collected in a spin up Eau Rouge. Sucks but sometimes it just goes that way! Will try to return to streaming dev stuff this week :)

Stream is up and running! Come watch me battle for second to last place ;P My Stream: twitch.tv/deckardholiday Race broadcast: www.youtube.com/watch?v=koHL...

We're live NOW with GT3 Season 9! Spa-Francorchamps is a very familiar challenge to most of the grid, but the reduced downforce of LMGT3 machinery makes the high-speed Raidillon and Pouhon complexes much more...well, complex. Off to the Ardennes we go! Tune in here: youtube.com/watch?v=koHL...

Race stream happening in about an hour. I want to return to Monday and Wednesday streams again this week, but we’ll see how I feel :P

Heyyy, just got my ballot in! Time to get to work! :3 For any other Colorado fluffs, I highly recommend checking out the Progressive Voter's Guide. They have some solid recommendations, especially about some of the odd Propositions up for a vote this year! www.progressivevotersguide.com/colorado

Huh

Think I'm going to end the night with some hot chocolate 🙂

Post race chat is abysmal. People really need to grow up. Shoutout to the stewards for putting their foot down. Can't imagine how annoying it must be to volunteer your time to put on an event for a community and then having to parent the drivers because they can't act like adults 🙄

Ended P26. Could've been worse, could've been better. Ended up getting collected during an unsafe rejoin which damaged the car early in the race. Couldn't stay in the fight with the group ahead after that.

Not streaming my POV this morning, but will be zoomin' around :)

Finally finished my head with the help of my friend Coda! Say hello to Boulder, the Bernese mountain bear. #fursuitfriday Aspens and mountains were perfect yesterday 🐻

Late night for raccoon appreciation day... still some time to tell him how much you appreciate him, though
