this is my vent art

constantly being reminded (by myself after spending one week on something) to always do warm ups when trying to tackle something big cause oml I'm like "woah I know what im doing (again) but kinda too late I'm already neck deep on working on this thing and cant be bothered to start from scratch"

Anyways moral of the lesson is do warm ups please on god do warm ups don't be like me especially if you haven't touched your tablet or done a specific thing in like a week or something

Also woah kind of related I've been seeing people who're trying out Metroid classics because of Ravenous and I couldn't be more happier to see them actually enjoy and get into the series that way hehe

call me old or retro but it's kind of disappointing not alotta people try to play the classics of the series before they make any comments on whether its bad or not for them especially simply because of how the game looks,, even if it's just for like an hour at most to test the waters

on other news im tryna get used to my tablet again cause after a week of borrowing my friend's tablet (which is smaller) so I can draw at school, my hand eye brain coordination is struggling to use my tablet (which is bigger)

Especially to see how far the series has come to evolve, seeing the insanity that they managed to pull off on such old hardware, pushing systems to their limits, especially gameplay wise, how the trend back then was make the most unique game compared to now where its usually the same old same old

rare Ketchy opinion on the timeline but gotta get it out there, I just feel strongly about this stuff mainly cause I do care about the history and background of games (even if I'm not the most knowledgeable the tism can only dig a hole so deep anyways try out the originals of the franchise you like
