Workload Wall is a self-hosted help desk that puts every open ticket on a cork board, so people see the pile before adding to it. It also includes network checks, device discovery, and a tripwire. #homelab #selfhosting (Sponsored) Watch Here: https://youtu.be/QPS67D8G-DA

I've spent the week thinking about a livestream today and I've got nothing. New video coming in a few days on the channel. Thanks for being awesome! #homelab #selfhosting (picture for visibility)

When does your fridge warranty run out? HomeCenter is a self-hosted app that tracks your home, vehicles, warranties, receipts, and health records in one place. One Docker container, quick setup. #homelab #selfhosting Watch Here: https://youtu.be/24WwrRmu8kI

Here's an early look at the new JetKVM Minis. They've got a wired and a wireless version and the price is pretty great on both (especially when you buy a 3 pack!) and you can self-host the UI and API! #homelab #selfhosting Watch Here: https://youtu.be/-IKMn-9uCQY

Every year Ethan Sholly puts out the Annual Self-Host User Survey. It launched last week and I want to remind everyone to go fill it out when you have a moment so about the results together in video! Here's the link: https://selfh.st/survey/2026-open/ #homelab #selfhosting

I've had BookStack running publicly for 5 years, the longest of any app I self-host. Time for a fresh look: a tour, an intro from developer Dan Brown, and a Docker Compose install with SMTP. #selfhosting #homelab #wiki Watch Here: https://youtu.be/NxHRE4YNhWg

If you had to rebuild your homelab from scratch with the same budget, what would you do differently? #selfhosting #homelab

Hey all! No livestream today. I've picked up a stomach bug and am just not going to be able to do it this weekend. New video coming Tuesday and we'll get back to livestreaming next weekend! #homelab #selfhosting

Want remote access to your homelab without exposing everything? I set up OpenVPN Access Server with DCO for faster speeds and per-user access rules, so each person only reaches the services they need. https://youtu.be/ztcyZ6l-z64 #homelab #selfhosting #openvpn

Mental health issues suck and I hope you're all doing well out there. Finally, after longer than I care to think about (more than a month), I've got a video edited and exported that I'm happy with. Waiting to hear back from the advertiser, but I have a good feeling about it.

Happy Monday! What's everyone working on in their #homelab this week? Let's chat about it! #selfhosting

Whatever social media posts that were scheduled by my self-hosted FreshRSS/n8n setup will be the last posts of their kind. I've unpublished the automations that handled those posts. Thanks to everyone who liked and shared them! #selfhosting #homleab

Thinking about putting together a Proxmox server on a mini PC during a livestream. Would you prefer the livestream be today or tomorrow?

For the past few months I've had my social media posting mostly automated: n8n runs FreshRSS feeds through an AI agent to quickly explain what was in the update that was just released by any number of developers. I use a couple of specific hashtags to get the posts noticed and it works pretty well.

But mostly they get reposted/boosted by other bots just trying to spread the same information. I initially started this as a way to be helpful and stay consistent online, but I'm wondering if the experiment is over.

Should I keep going with the automated social media posts covering the updates of self-hosted apps and services? Would really love to know your thoughts.

This is the current state of my #homelab / #Promxox boot drive, so that's awesome. I'm doing a full check on a new drive that I will replace this failing drive with, but it's gonna take several more hours to finish the test. Happy Friday and welcome to #selhosting
