"The votes aren't there" is cowardice masked as savviness. There has to be accountability for their crimes. The House has a duty to make the case here and if some GOP senators want to weasel out, make them own that vote. Don't let pundits and "strategists" talk you out of doing your damn job.

Kamala Harris: I think that going in the direction of impeachment is not a good idea. I was in the Senate for the last go-round, and the votes aren’t there. I think after the election, we all have to just also agree that our attitude has to be to get stuff done…

The woman in the next hotel room had loud, brief sex at 12:15 am; it sounded like he finished before her and she wasn’t happy. Today she’s been singing and playing original sad songs with her guitar.

AI company execs to their chatbots: “what the fuck should I do if Democrats take Congress? What’s happening?!? Help me!”

The Buson hotel the leads stay at in Make Me Tingle is either the one I stayed at or just next door. The rooms, floor, and view of the bridge are the same.

100 Days of Deception takes place in 1932. A Japanese leader unexpectedly arrives in town on a train in episode 5 and explains his timing as "I have to move under the radar." Radar was invented in 1935 in Scotland. Historical outrage grips South Korea in 3, 2, 1...

I wrote an 8008 emulator and got some old language tools to work. The instruction set is brutally simple, but that CPU from 1972 solves tic-tac-toe in 42 seconds. WOPR from 1983's War Games took 72 seconds to solve the same thing.

Artist responses to online hate. Phoebe: ban phones at shows. IU: Write BBIBBI, help change the laws, and sue the F out of people.

The Phoebe Bridgers show last night was wonderful. The stages were inventive and engrossing. Her stage presence was great. I remember the whole crowd singing along with Funeral at The Crocodile in 2018. Last night the whole crowd at Climate Pledge sang along. Such cool moments and growth.

Today’s music delivery: Shooting My Love by Park Eun Bin. Amazing actress and stellar singer. You’ve watched Extraordinary Attorney Woo, right?

King County, WA mailed my ballot on October 14th. It has not yet arrived (as of the 19th). At what point should I contact the county elections office to report this?

Unrelated to the election, my album Why KiiiKiii SNAPSHOT Edition is going through some travel thanks to the USPS. My confidence in the USPS is not great right now.

I still have flu b and don't want to infect my fellow cheek freaks. One free ticket available to good home.

Take Charge of My Heart seems intentional about restoring the leads' Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs from bottom to top. Nice. 8/10. Bonus point for Pikachu references. Will Chae Soo-bin be typecast for massive fart scenes?

le sserafim created an ad for viki with dramas they like on that streaming platform. They included top picks for each member. I've sorted those based on how much I like each drama so I'd know my watching compatibility. #kdrama #kpop #lesserafim

Kazuha also mentioned While You Were Sleeping, which I think is a great drama at about the same level as W. It stars Suzy, who looks extremely similar to Kazuha.

There are tons of bots constantly creating crap k-pop content on TikTok, IG, YouTube, and blog sites. At this rate before long >99% of content and engagement will be bots. Bluesky seems to have much less of this.

My OM SYSTEM PEN shipped! Finally, I can use my old Micro Four Thirds lenses on a modern, fairly small camera for street photography and vacations.

I've had just two guitar heroes: Alex Lifeson and Peter Buck. They have completely different styles but each innovated and influenced. Seeing Alex play up close on Saturday was such a treat. #rush

The juxtaposition of a kpop group performing in the grime and filth of El Corazon, using the pole to their favor rather than as an obstruction, will never cease to amaze me. UAU on Sunday.
