Sega Dreamcast Info@segadreamcastinfo.bsky.social

I wanted to test AI and put it to work for game preservation, starting with Mortal Kombat 4 Dreamcast from a SET 4 dev kit. AI even created a wrapper like the SET 2 one, integrated directly into the executable! Do you know of any other Dreamcast prototypes from a SET 4 dev kit?

A real moving moment when everyone stood up and rightly applauded them all. Very glad that, after 2 years of planning, this talk worked out.

Yesterday was an incredible experience for Tomb Raider fans from all around the world. Finishing with a massive standing ovation for the people from Core Design, for all they’ve done for the series over the last thirty years. #TR30

Did it. 3 years - from starting the second book to having many Core Design folk have their copy to say thank you below. I’m now going to sleep for the rest of the month.

This went live over the weekend! All the thanks to @lewispackwood.bsky.social for sorting - it's a new extract from the book about the start of Tomb Raider Chronicles, and the end of the PS1 era.

After this week, I know I can answer 'No' when I think to myself: 'Is there anything else I could have done.' I am looking forward to a rest for a few days soon.

Now that the game’s out, it’d be nice to have some more eyes on the below from last month. For something I was really pleased to have out there, it died a quick death. Curious as to why.

I can finally say: At TR30, being held in Derby next Saturday, I'm hosting a Core Design talk, covering TR1-6 and the expansions! Much of the original Tomb Raider team will be there, as well as many others - it's going to be the event's biggest talk yet. Details: www.instagram.com/p/DejmfXlonuf/

M. Night Shyamalan's YouTube channel (which is something he has now) came out of nowhere with this great line.

A new thing by @nezzkobedamned.bsky.social to read today? I’m there.

No mention about Pocket Tactics layoffs here? Shame. It was great to work with the team last year. Really sad to see them go after all the hard work they did. And not one bit of AI use either.

I have a true soft spot for The Loadout. It was one of my first major websites to work on. Seeing this prompt left in an article just makes me feel numb

This is impressive.

We managed to squeeze in one last feature for Delta 2.0: DLC for Pokémon games! You can now download custom DLC for games like Pokemon Emerald to interact with @shanegillio.bsky.social and I as NPCs, and even receive rare event items or Pokemon in return (and all made without AI 🙂)
