Joined thousands who came out in Salem to make their voices heard this weekend. No Kings!

Oregon Attorney General Dan Rayfield@agdanrayfield.bsky.social

Huge thanks to everyone who came out to the No Kings rally in Salem yesterday! At the Oregon DOJ, we’re fighting every day to uphold our Constitution and the rule of law, and it’s great to see so many people taking a stand and making their voices heard. #orpol #nokings

Yesterday, a federal judge ordered an important check on the excessive use of force we saw at the Portland ICE facility this past weekend. Peaceful protesters should never be met with tear gas – in Oregon, or anywhere. Read our full statement. #orpol

Check out some of our key accomplishments from 2025. We’ll keep up the pace in 2026!

It's been a busy year since being sworn in as Oregon's 18th Attorney General! Our team is fighting every day for Oregon priorities: keeping communities safe, protecting seniors, kids, & working families, and upholding Oregon laws & values. Here are a few accomplishments:🧵 #orpol

We’ve hosted public safety roundtables to keep communities safe, launched a Working Families Unit and Economic Justice Section to fight for consumers, and protected $4.5 billion for our state through federal oversight lawsuits. And we’re just getting started.

Governor Kotek has consistently stood up for Oregonians and the values we share. We’ve worked side by side against harmful federal actions, including opposing troop deployment in Portland. She’s the partner I need to continue this fight, and I am proud to support her re-election.

As your Governor, I’ve never been prouder to work for you - and with you. But the fight isn’t over. I’m running for reelection because Oregon values are on the line.

My friend Rob Wagner is joining me for the next Oregon Priorities town hall on December 17 at PCC Sylvania in SW Portland. See below for the full details — we’d love to have you join us!

My dad was a colonel in the Air Force Reserve, and I’ve seen his service, dedication, and leadership throughout my life. This Veterans Day, I’m grateful for my dad and the lessons he taught me — and for all those who serve our country in uniform.

Trump is saying other countries will pay for his tariffs, but HIS OWN LAWYERS are telling the Supreme Court the opposite. According to White House lawyers, American families will front 30-80% of these costs. Ridiculous and reckless. @agdanrayfield.bsky.social

Hope to see you there!

Join us for a Corvallis Town Hall on Wednesday, November 12 with @sensgb.bsky.social & Rep. Finger McDonald! Come share the priorities that matter most: keeping communities safe, protecting working families, defending Oregon’s values, or something else. RSVP: bit.ly/Nov12Corvallis

Ever wondered how to explain tariffs to Gen Z? I recently laid it out for Gov. Beshear (and his teenagers) — just in time for Oregon to take our tariffs case to the Supreme Court on November 5. What topic should we translate next?!

We will urge the *full* Ninth Circuit to vacate today’s decision by a three-judge panel, before illegal Guard deployments can occur. A Ninth Circuit judge has already called for a vote on whether the case should be heard by the full court. Our team will file a brief encouraging the court to do so.

Go to law school, they said. You’ll have job security, they said. I never expected to use my law degree to file so many lawsuits against the president… but you’ve gotta follow the law, whoever you are.

I was truly touched to receive a declaration of support from the Democratic Party of Washington Co. When I ran for AG, I never expected to sue the president so many times… yet we have to uphold the Constitution, and we have to uphold Oregon‘s laws and values. Grateful for the statement of support.

We are seeing the dangerous weaponization of our criminal justice system — from Comey to AG James in NY. We have a president who leads through fear. But we need to bring people together. I’m grateful to the local organizers across our state who are doing this important work.

Great to be with the Washington County Democrats at their Neuberger Dinner last night! As Democrats, we must not solely be defined by what we reject — we must build a lasting identity around our shared vision of what we offer.
