I created this photo using recent research so it relaxes your brain when you pause to look at the details. As I'm sometimes too unwell to post here (not good mental health due to PMDD & recovering from a breakdownA) it would help so much if you could maybe RT my photo. Many thanks 🌿

All I can say is that DIGGER might very well be a bad movie but I don’t regret having seen it for a second. If you watch a lot of films, as I do, why not just watch something unique? Script is lousy but filmmaking is distinctive and these days I’ll take that

Was offered a ticket to see the Stones in 1976 but didn’t accept as they “were an old band”

How about this? Best concerts that you ALMOST got to see but DIDN’T. Include reasons if you like: Rolling Stones (play rehearsal) Johnny Cash (I dallied) R.E.M. (play performance) Nirvana (canceled, college declined to pay requested $500 appearance fee)

These videos are a regular January highlight and a reminder of how rich and varied the movies remain. You don’t have to agree with the choices (Naked Gun??) but the skill with which these are put together will give you a blast

If you’ve shared StopReformUK.Vote Thank you 🙌 It’s one of many important tools we have at our hands to keep out fascism in the UK, But so many people haven’t seen it before. It simply helps you know which candidate to vote for in your area who has the best chance against the Reform candidate.

stopreformuk.voteStop the Tories and ReformYour vote is your power. Use it tactically to get the Tories and Reform out, then influence your new MP and the next government.

I’m not sure I could rise to the challenge but given I’ve just bought my fifth copy of Agharta and now looking for an original Japanese pressing of it maybe that’s the answer. There’s a mix of that album which is a holy grail for Miles electric heads if we could ever settle on what it actually is

So many great choices already here but as Hymns to the Silence feels underrepresented I’ll give it a vote if only for Take Me Back where Van’s sense of yearning speaks to the common search for the unachievable utopia of the past.

Roberta Flack was one of the 20th century's greatest artists. So much more than the songs that crossed over and became universal, though those songs alone earned her immortality. RIP to a woman who changed the sonic landscape. Here is my long essay on her genius www.npr.org/2020/02/10/8...

npr.orgRemembering Roberta Flack: The VirtuosoRoberta Flack is only solo artist to win two consecutive Record of the Year Grammys and she helped usher in an enduring style of R&B. Could she be pop music's most under-appreciated influence?
