Made an AI agent assistant that's been crushing community tech support for almost a week. The AI stuff I'm working on is all starting to pay back by freeing up bandwidth for me to work on and fund other stuff I've always wanted to

got a macbook air m3 last year with aim to give macOS a genuine effort to see what it's about, it didn't work out tho, felt like a productivity downgrade got myself a newer thinkpad and installed my fav linux distro, now it's running like a dream, best computer I ever had

It did take a night to configure stuff since its newer hardware, seems that little annoyance is what filters people the most Also bit jelly seeing ppl run self hosted LLMs on macbooks, but unless you travel a lot can just have a dedicated machine do that stuff on your local network

underrated spell roster: - github actions - LLMs / chatbots (eliza framework) - puppeteer / blender python scripting someday github repos can be visualized as immersive war rooms populated with dashboards + AI agents with knowledge of the codebase there to assist with features / bug reports

I want more social vr experiences of optimistic future timlines, not just these sci-fi pictures. VR/AR can make the future more tangible and within our grasp to reel back into our timeline

interesting, Meta gunna let third party headsets run their OS. I wonder if this will include the browser too which is probably the best in terms of webxr features / support

If you're a gamer, PopOS with nvidia drivers preinstalled + proton will satisfy all your gaming needs via Linux If you want the best desktop in terms of performance, stability, and software support, Debian 12 tbh nfa iykyk

governments are in charge of public goods funding, couldn't they do more to help fund digital public goods like free open source software projects to prevent the next xz / heartbleed situation?

I continue to believe that the humble web browser startpage is one of the most underrated frontiers to innovate upon, particularly if interested in trying to bootstrap decentralized networks and local-first software as it can act as a launcher for those types of apps and is meant to load fast

Feeling a bit at a crossroads where on one hand I'm prolly the only anon representing at one of these big standards groups focused on interoperability, which is cool I guess but also I'm putting in a lot of work and have no major company support so it feels like I'm not getting much out of it :S

and I don't see these companies or standards groups buying any of my NFTs or donating crypto anytime soon, it feels like the working group model hasn't changed much since the 90s
