On parental leave right now and doing my best to resist the strong urge to open Slack and help my co-workers douse the various fires that may or may not have erupted. That said, I'll get back into the churn soon enough, and I'll only get to spend this special time once.

Injecting RAG similarity scores into the context alongside content works better when uaing broad labels like "very relevant". Letting the model eval the scores directly tends to break down with long contexts.
