Picket lines are not only a labor union tool but also an effective strategy in a general strike. A consumer picket line is a peaceful protest by customers, not workers, on public sidewalks to pressure corporate policy.

Right now, I am noticing something inside the movement. Different perspectives. Different priorities. Different levels of urgency. Different plans of action. That is a blessing. That’s what happens when something starts to scale.

We need aligned participation. Find your role. Take your step. Keep moving. If one groups ‘vibe”doesn’t fit. Find another. You are not alone. There are plenty of people moving in the same direction. Different paths. Different voices. Still the same direction

Because “we the people” includes everybody. That’s is the one win I hope we can all agree on.

Some people are focused on immediate action. Some are building what comes next. Some are naming deeper causes. Some are still deciding where they stand None of that is the threat unless we turn those differences into reasons to stop moving together. We don’t need full agreement to create momentum.

What if the next thing was not another big event. Not a one day action. Not waiting for the next flashpoint moment. Just something simple you can do… every day. Https://generalstrike.net/the-un-game

This General Strike Un-game is starting April 5th. Discover a community of people moving together to redesign how we participate in the systems around us.

I wrote a calm, honest piece about what a general strike actually looks like in real life, what it asks of us, and why preparation turns fear into agency.

The partisan nature of politics today has eroded trust in the election system. Dominion voting has been purchased by the MAGA money monarchies. The rumors of manipulation of the 2024 elections have reached the congressional debate. Mail in ballots, ‘tho safe, got bad press and not for everyone

McCarthyism didn’t die in the 1950s. It evolved into Trumpism What began as the Red Scare was refined, normalized, and eventually re-deployed for a new era. 🧵👇

From Nixon institutionalizing suspicion, to Reagan normalizing it, to Bush embedding it into policy—the politics of fear became familiar long before Trump arrived. Trump didn’t invent the tactic. He removed the restraints.
