are there any CEOs left that know how to run a business, or has our economy officially been reduced to copper wiring just waiting to be pulled

seeing THE DEVILS on the big screen was a great and awful decision. a harrowing masterpiece. stayed for the credits to announce "freaked it" every time a set designer or costumer's name appeared

it’s a lie! he never saw her til the day of his arrest!!

absolutely delighted that @sisterhyde.bsky.social, who designed the posters and branding for the The Devils re-release with WB Clockwork, made this official poster as part of You Can See The Devils weekend www.instagram.com/sister__hyde...

we talk a lot about actors and iphone face, but this guy from The Devils definitely has “has seen the inside of a VW Bus” face

NVIDIA CEO JENSEN HUANG SAYS HE BELIEVES MOST PEOPLE IN GERMANY WILL MOSTLY WORK INSIDE A DIGITAL TWIN OF THEIR COMPANY, BUILDING DIGITAL CARS WITH DIGITAL BRAINS, WITH AI ROBOTS BUILDING ROBOTIC CARS INSIDE ROBOTIC FACTORIES

anyone know any good books about how to WIN a time war? I keep searching for "time war how to" and getting really frustrated with the results

I remember when Meek’s Cutoff came out, Kelly Reichardt said it was filmed in 4:3 to mirror how the women’s bonnets would rob them of their peripheral vision. Anyway I loved the 4:3 aspect ratio in You Can See Everything.

crazy how Ebenezer is trying to sell itself as an all-new take, but the trailer just runs through literally every familiar beat from every adaptation of A Christmas Story

having seen the movie now, unfortunately the "horniness" is almost entirely deployed as cheap gags, which ends up not reading as actually horny, but instead reduces the female characters to fetishized objects and the male characters to repressed gay panic machines

"no rapping tonight" why? "you rap about the new adaptation of Sense & Sensibility everytime, it's embarrassing" ok [after one beer] uh oh y'all it's gettin kinda hazy edgar-jones

Calvin Kasulke and Welcome to Night Vale. Two great tastes that should be illegal to put together

delighted to have written another episode with the WTNV crew. I think it's a fun one. I think you should listen. I think you should do a lot of things, but let's start with a small ask, okay? check it out:

I like the Narnia trailer, but I'm becoming such an Old Man Yells At Clouds about CGI. I rewatched Poltergeist the other night and was just floored. Movies used to feel tangible. Lived in. Visceral. With CG we can make everything, but nothing feels like anything.
