Legitimately a dream to write something that inspires a reader to "go Martin Luther Mode."
@davidjroth.bsky.social the county Republican party (in Ohio) is in the same building that I work in, and I taped up part of your column to their door today, because you express your disgust much more civilly and coherently than I do, much thanks.
The premise here is exactly what I profess: aerobic exercise and strength training will make you feel better and help you avoid the things most likely to make you feel worse. I can understand that trans people see particular barriers to entry and I think Merritt is a good person to address them!
i wrote a little guide on physical fitness for trans people. i made it free because of how important this stuff is. if you like it, you can become a merritt+ member for only $5 a month, which is a huge help to me www.patreon.com/merrittk/pos...

This is not even slightly true! Texas has "cities" that are large collections of suburbs and a density profile where it's densest cities are lower density than the typical California suburb
Californians pretend they live in the city and Texans pretend they live in the country, the suburbs where people in both states actually live are largely identical

Of note, one of this year's ballot measures is purportedly to fund necessary medical research, but a close examination reveals that it's basically a $4 billion taxpayer payout to a single sketchy nonprofit. That's why it's important to read the fine print.
Here's part 2 of my California voter guide. This one covers how I'm voting on all 14 propositions that are on the ballot this year: publiccomment.blog/p/the-public...
