imagining a guy who feels seriously oppressed because he can't post on social media about how he likes boobs and laughing a lot

would really advise not letting reddit feminists have any input into your kid's worldview if you can avoid it

guy who calls himself a neo-perennialist to refer to the fact that he believes in a modernist academic synthesis of neoplatonism, zen buddhism, and the art of accomplishment podcast

just started a cyberpunk game and it only took 5 minutes before i got a popup of my life coach telling me to do nervous regulation exercises

i woke up to an actual baseball bloodbath congratulations on your first ever world series win, Milwaukee Brewers! i know you haven't technically won the world series yet, but i believe that you can finish the formalities cleanly

feel like i see an uncomfortable amount of artists posting on social media that things are allowed/disallowed "because of copyright" when nobody with an even slightly decent understanding of how copyright law actually works would claim that

the folks going slow are gonna be ootsposting until 2027 at least i think that's good

the first atlas 95%+ tag i have seen is on a man with a bio that starts "SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA" on a post that starts "I live in MN"

I live in MN where the Senate race is between the current Lt. Gov. with lots of government/policy experience and a former NFL broadcaster with none. The GOP alone keeps nominating people like that for Senate. I'm legit curious why. Is it just because Trump won? Non-heated/shouty answers welcome.

this test is good. i was expecting it to just be another boring personality quiz but instead it's frog fractions. you should play it

looked up the local elections and i feel surprised to learn that we actually do have a gubernatorial race going on

i think people seriously overcomplicate chili. it really only involves three ingredients: water, beans and msg. if there are any foods you’re allergic to, throw some of that in for some added zing. don’t heat the pot. don’t be performative

"Toxic yuri" is a very context-dependent term because half the people using it are clearly picturing some sort of subtle psychological warfare and the other half seem to be describing the girl version of whatever is going on between Batman and the Joker.

feeling hella vindicated even tho its literally only 2 days old

i always get wary when we start noticing patterns that aren't there, societally. im lowkey gonna start ignoring a lot of cybersecurity stuff in the coming days bc its always this thing of one big thing happens and then we all assume there's this pattern happening now when they dont really exist.

i think we're gonna win

found out that my mother in law decided she was aggressively pro trans rights literally by going, I don't know anything about this but everyone who is against trans rights is also against free school lunch, the issue I know and care a lot about, so this must be the correct way to feel about this

6. TLJ is not a good movie or bad movie. It’s a good montage of brilliant set pieces with nominal connective tissue.

i feel like so much of my life is contoured around trying to find imaginary spaces where it's safe to work with some kind of seriousness because i don't feel safe doing it in the real ones

i think the biggest and clearest area i have seen in my personal life has been multiple sclerosis meds - we've taken it from something that's basically guaranteed to land you in a wheelchair to something that's mostly fine as long as you have an insurance willing to pay $10k/mo for the good stuff

Social media loves talking about how everything is getting worse. But what’s something that you’ve seen get _better_ in your lifetime?
