"Eugenia" is making raisins in Kern county CA. Workers must walk on hot sandy ground and pick enough grapes to fill a tub. They spread out a sheet of paper on the hot sand and put the grapes on the paper to dry. They get paid 36 cents a sheet for this difficult work. #WeFeedYou

It's difficult to perceive in a depression or crisis and considering ending your life, that we are not individual beings. "You're not alone," is not a platitude. You are actually connected to others around you. If you leave, you rip that part of yourself out of them. Talk to them before you do.

A favorite from Evanston.

Your Moment of Zen: Martin Gregus Jr. captured this polar bear swimming alongside a pod of beluga whales on drone footage in the Arctic. Polar bears are occasional predators of belugas (ambush at airholes), but they know they can easily outrun the bear in open water. (📷: mywildlive on IG)

IMHO: Laura Loomer went to Ukraine and Zelensky *agreed* to meet her because the administration orchestrated it. She is being used to shift MAGA opinion away from Russia, to Ukraine. Why? Because DC has serious intel that Russia is losing and Putin is in trouble. And our president *hates* losers.

I follow a lot of economic news and analysis. Are there any economists publishing on this platform that have data backed articles on the new socialist policies being proposed by figures like Mamdani and AOC?
