This is amazing. No greater honor than our stuff giving inspiration to incredibly funny art like this!

That poor, poor worm- Nah they probably deserve it Had this idea in my brain for a while after seeing that @cubicorngames.com went to Pax West too, and then next year, Pax East.... Also used this to practice making comics again (with some more dynamic scenes) #comic #art #funny

Started the new Fire Emblem last weekend. I’ll play more for sure, but I’m feeling bits of bloat surrounding the good stuff. Digging the character focused story threads and strategy combat, but the dungeons and third-person sections seem a bit underbaked by comparison.

Slowly getting back to our day-to-day after PAX West. Look for a return to our normal podcast schedule for the next few months, as well as shout outs to some of the coolest games we encountered on the road over the last few weeks!

Finally made it home from PAX after four days on the road. We’ve got one more mini adventure planned this weekend, then we’ll have a rundown of our recent adventures on the podcast soon!

Just finished our second travel day heading home from PAX. We’ll finally be back to podcasting on a semi-regular basis when we get back, so expect a rundown of our last few weeks of travel and game events soon!

His name is Cucumber! And this is amazing, thank you!

Just wrapped up day one of the trip home. Thanks again to everyone who played Super Cucumber at PAX! We’ll be a little slow to reply to stuff until we’re back home, but I’ll try to get caught up each night after we stop for the day.

After one last scenic charge, we’ve covered over 2,000 miles in three days! Our longest road trip ever by an order of magnitude, and for sure the most satisfying.

Matt & Gen are joined by Sarah Moonen to discuss this year's PAX East. The panels attended, the games played, and what it felt like it says about the state of gaming. funandgames.libsyn.com/special-pax-...

Slowly getting back to normal after PAX East. We had so many great interactions last weekend. Thanks again to everyone who checked out the game! We'll have a new podcast next week discussing PAX, future Super Cucumber updates, and our tentative event roadmap for the rest of the year!

Sarah’s game of show for PAX East 2026 is Super Cucumber from @cubicorngames.com! This 2D action platformer is full of heart, hand drawn animations, and clever level designs. The aura mechanic puts a unique spin on the platforming which feels seamless from the moment you pick it up.

Start the new year right, with this awesome video about old portable games (and watch their other content too, it's all quite good!)
