Nothing is quite as flattering for a game designer than someone taking your game system and adapting it. Konrad Idzik and Piotr Bambot have adapted my "Littoral Commander" system into a brigade level #wargame for Poland. There are several interesting adaptations from an app to refined UI. 🎲

Let me share my impression from Wargameron - largest conflict-games convention in Poland. That was a tremendous time - looking forward to next year! theboardgameschronicle.com/2026/09/11/w... @gmtgames.bsky.social @phalanxgames.bsky.social @assaultgames.bsky.social @soundofdrumsgames.bsky.social

My third visit to Wargameron was unforgettable! Eight players, eight tables and eight hours with the impressive Joint Commander: Poland prototype—featuring wooden components from CUBE4ME. Read my convention report: cube4me.com/events/cube4...

Looks like @phalanxgames.bsky.social folk have a production set of 1943: Race to Rabaul in action!

Coast Watchers is the first title in the Volko Ruhnke Recon Series. It takes us to WWII Pacific & Allies vs. Japanese intelligence struggle. Today I am presenting that great title, more content soon! Check out 👇 theboardgameschronicle.com/2026/08/30/c... @gmtgames.bsky.social @volko.bsky.social

And one more photo from Joint Commander Poland — one of the brigades that was under my command! The game is still a prototype, but the designer has prepared everything to look and feel like a final production copy. Really impressive!

Me with Grzesiek (in the blue T-shirt), the designer of In Fours to Heaven, the latest game from VUCA Simulations! He revealed that his second game should be released very soon — and he's already working on two more titles! Lots to look forward to!

Look at this room full of great wargames! So many amazing titles to choose from and play — and this isn't even everything! There's a second room dedicated entirely to the really BIG games. Wargameron is a wargamer's paradise! 😍
