i don't like how this glass damage looks like it's going straight to the phosphor layer like I know it's not because the seller shows an image of the CRT displaying the wii main menu so the vacuum is still intact, but it still looks really weird lmao

if I didn't have the 20" widescreen PVM I probably would be much more inclined to mod it also size comparison between the widescreens for fun

Composite no longer displays only in B/W on this 5041Q after I swapped out the old orange trimmer pots and put in new ones along with some ceramic caps, hurray 🎉

getting some trimmer pots and caps in next week to fix the black and white issue on the bottom PVM 5041Q ✌️

also one thing to note about the 20AF41 is that component is handled much better than S-Video there's a lot of smearing on it compared to s-vid signals in other sets I've used which is a little disappointing since I love s-video when it's processed right :(

Got around to testing out my spare 4k USB-C to VGA adapter after months of having it lying around. i'd be sad if my main one died and this one didn't work after. anyways look big numbers 🎉 (the 4k res is scaled by 175% for legibility and is only for stress testing the adapter)
