Let’s be clear: The GOP’s new voter suppression legislation (modeled on the SAVE Act) is unlikely to pass the Senate. But with this attack on our voting rights ahead of the midterms, we can’t take anything for granted.

ICE exists to enforce CIVIL immigration law, not CRIMINAL law of any kind. Ergo, there is no legal justification for them: * to be armed. * to be masked. * to kidnap anyone they want when they require judicial warrants to make CIVIL arrests. * to provide security for the Vice President, ever.

I think it’s far past time we all just refuse to address him by any other epithet than “Florida Man”
