How can I make this app less bed wetty and more attuned to my personal brand of early 50s apathy, memes, titillation and technology? It used to be so much fun on twitter with Shipphams Paste and Crimer, one liners and observations, military fleet maintenance experts, breaking news by reactions.

Had my noise cancelling headphones in all morning on a blissful solo weekend. Took them off and sat in the garden to enjoy the sun and now I can hear drilling one side, a guy shouting at his computer over the back and a fucking podcast babbling away nearby.

Thank you Claude, on behalf of all the fiftysomethings, for your old-fashioned melanphoric eurobanger. I would have totally bought your song once it had peaked at number 48 in 1979 & it finally had its corner snipped off for inclusion in my local Woolworths' half-price box. #Netherlands #Eurovision

I mean look at this shit. Oxford Mail is a clickbait generator about LTNs and murders which shows a GB News ragebait page when exiting their website, then has the cheek to claim it has journalistic standards. Absolutely fuck all the way off and when you get there keep fucking off some more.

Today turns out not to be the day to finally retire my 10 year old desktop PC. It seems to have forgotten what a network is. I would put it out of its misery but it has a bunch of files and settings on and I'm sure I'll regret it. Related: I need to learn to let go more this year.

I have an abusive relationship with Mikrotik. I am considering upgrading from a RB960GPS to this RB5009 but I know it will just let me down with sprawling, conflicting documentation and unhelpful arrogant messageboards for support. Look at all those gigabits though.

Kubernetes is just a bin fire. The problem K8S is trying to solve for a few is vastly outweighed by the unnecessary abstractions and network fakery for most. And to call your "load balancer" MetalLB but then have it route EVERYTHING through one ARP-spoofed NIC is just pure doublespeak.

"We didn't really understand networking so we did it in software and used NAT and PAT lot and proxies and my god it's full of namespaces what hath thou wrought? all is lost..a̴l̴l̴ ̶i̶s̸ ̷l̷o̷s̵t̵.. a̷̱͖̿l̵̙͛l̴̺̿͘ ̵̥̻̊̈́i̷̩͊͘s̵̘̱̈́̓ ̶͉͘l̴̼͋̓͜o̸͉͘s̷̗̗͝t̸̥̮̉
