Republicans campaign on the economy. Democrats build it. 72 percent of all jobs created since 1945 came under Democratic presidents. 84 percent of recession quarters came under Republicans. That is BLS and NBER data, not opinion. #VoteBlue

Republicans want us to memory-hole everything Trump did in 2020 while dragging us back into the same tired 2020 culture wars: Fauci, Wuhan, vaccines, communism. Why? Because it’s now 2026, they broke the country, and desperately need a distraction to reinvigorate their base.

Eminent domain in PA is the equivalent of someone holding a gun to your head, taking your grandfather's gold watch off your wrist and stuffing a $50 dollar bill in your pocket. You were robbed at gunpoint. The robber is not typically Uncle Sam Penn but rich cousins O &G or for profit electric.

What could possibly go wrong? It’s not like the Saudis murder journalists, suppress dissent and repress human rights, and only 15 of the 19 9/11 hijackers were Saudis, so…

The best way to get to the bottom of the McConnell question is for the governor to appoint a replacement. The GOP legislature passed a law stripping him of that power, but it goes against the state constitution. If they refuse to seat the replacement, take them to court. There’s zero downside.

This should put an end to the mewling of the few people still left who tell us that we have to support Fetterman because he is a Democrat

The Intercept@theintercept.com

Sen. John Fetterman received the FEC's maximum allowed campaign donations from billionaire GOP megadonor Harlan Crow, known for his controversial ties to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.

Folks seem surprised that Trump would lie about election interference while simultaneously releasing documents that prove he was lying. When you have followers who will regurgitate whatever you say regardless of the evidence, the truth doesn’t actually matter.

Whether you’re a Democrat, Republican, or Independent, we can all agree that billionaires and big corporations buying up politicians like they’re just another vacation home is simply not right. We need to end Citizens United.

If you haven't availed yourself of "Hail Satan?" Now's the time, before HBO gets bought out.

Lucien Greaves@luciengreaves.bsky.social

'Hail Satan?,' about the rise of The Satanic Temple, listed as one of "3 great new HBO Max documentaries to watch this weekend (July 3-5)" www.howtogeek.com/hbo-max-docu...

Evangelical christians all wondering why the rapture isn't happening when it's painfully evident to the rest of us that even Jesus doesn't want to spend time with insuffereable asses

The Stare designed by Katie Pomper. Available on Ravelry. Needs to be blocked still. Just starting out with stranded colorwork. Not too disappointed in the final product. #knitting

Just finished knitting the FAMILY CAT HAT Designed by YourKnittingroom. Pics don't do it justice. Fit is perfect. Decreases are lovely. Probably beginner friendly. Dewy DK yarn by Expression Fiber Arts.πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œ

What some fail to grasp is that billionaires went from lobbying for their industries to bribing Trump directly for their wish lists. Every billionaire alongside Trump is telling you that rules, regulations & laws don’t apply to them anymore. If you happen to get crushed by their greed, so be it.

the war on Iran is the first American conflict that hasn't had the press embedded with the troops. that's so they can lie their fucking faces off about the war crimes they've been getting up to. thank you for your attention to today's post, in which I lay it all out. link is here: bit.ly/4ujsypQ

Just saw a story where Governor Kemp in GA said β€œCallais requires us to draw new maps for 2028” (some were pushing for a special session to redraw them for 2026). If R’s are interpreting Callais as a mandate to gerrymander even further, D’s have no choice but to meet them on the battlefield.

this needs to extend to everything, including for example filing the exact same bill shit lawsuit at 60 Minutes for editing trumps interview as trump filed over the biden interview

Democrats need to accept that they're entering a new era of procedural Total War. This includes a big escalation in redistricting, but it's not limited to that. If Republicans don't like it, tough shit: They made this world, and they are the ones inflicting it on us. newrepublic.com/article/2098...

🌊 Before the EPA, business "solved it" themselves. Here's what government actually did: 🌊 Clean Water Act β€” rivers that were literally on fire are swimmable today 🌧️ Eliminated acid rain β€” saved forests & lakes β˜€οΈ Banned CFCs β€” reversed the ozone hole & prevented mass skin cancer

My first foray into stranded colorwork. Fox Beanie designed by Anna SyrjΓ€nen. Pattern available on ravelry. Hope the rest of the hat is a breeze after that bit! #knitting

We use it. If they ban vote by mail? We turn out in record numbers and vote in person. If they pass the save act? We read the law to the letter, make sure we’re in compliance, and vote in record numbers. Basically, when someone is trying to suppress your vote, you give them the opposite effect.
