There's a Sims 4 update for Windows only to fix the issue with Defender thinking the launcher is a trojan. This will not affect your mods/game version.

Windows is currently blocking the TS4_Launcher as a Trojan. EA app wants you to repair the game which fails. Use this thread if you're affected: forums.ea.com/discussions/...

Patch 1.126.58/2.36 Today’s patch brings back auto-saves and enables Memory Boost for all players (including Mac and console users). It also prepares the game for the upcoming Music Den Kit. There's also a few bug fixes.
