You demanded so we delivered! We've just pushed a major update! For starters those of you in NA, we see you. We know our servers in the UK have not been smooth sailing so you can now stream to an NA based node which should improve performance! Find out how here! altstream.online/documentatio...

Me: It can't be that bad *Checks Raes other comment* Me: O-oh, FUCK THAT

Just need to make the Barge and I'll be set! Reactives: Done! Osgrin: Done! Tree: Done! So close to complete, OMG!!!!

And here was me thinking that the reason people went to streaming sites was to see streamers. If we wanted cloud gaming we'd go check out OnLive... oh wait... Anyway, did you know our featured streamers spot on the front page is random? We give everyone a spot, not just the biggest communities.

‼️ Let's Do This ❗️🌊✊🏽✊🏻💙‼️ i believe in the power of our lovely, strong voices. let's get into good trouble 💯 #VoteBlue 💙🗳🌊👇🏽

Twitch continues to do our marketing for us I see. "we don't want to make our own tools, bet we can get someone else to pay for the LLM slop too" - twitch probably. Meanwhile, our site is made by a single human dev with assistance from community members who actually know what they're doing.

Bluesky says the starter pack is at 151/150, but i can apparently still add a couple more ppl to it. I'll need 7 minimum for a second pack. DM me or reply here, and I'll add you to the next one #VTuber #AltStream #StarterPack

Streamers, you can now add a sub badge to your altstream! Viewers who subscribe to you via Ko-Fi can now get your sub badge in chat and get a channel point multiplier! As this is going via Ko-Fi integration we do not take a cut and your funds are available instantly!

Bleecker Street, the film distributor overseeing the theatrical release of Alex Gibney's documentary Musk, was informed on Friday that the film's TikTok account was subject to "permanent suspension." tinyurl.com/4yd9997x

How are you affording your hardware? We are currently building this service as a community funded endeavour. Viewers and streamers can support the site via a subscription on Ko-Fi: ko-fi.com/altstream and in doing so they can get a badge for their account and more bonuses that we are working on.

We might not be able to get you a whole dollar in sponsor funds. But we can promise we're never scraping your streams.

It's day 1 of @gamersoutreach.org Spooktacular Streamathon! I am starting off by playing Little Nightmares for the first time. #SS2026 #charitystream #halloween #twitch #vtuber #foxtuber #chaoticgremlin www.twitch.tv/gingerbrainrot

What can we say other than thank you. Altstream has now hit 2000 registered users, just a few weeks ago we could scarcely imagine hitting this milestone! From a personal project for one streamer to get away from twitch we've grown into a thriving community, and you all made it happen!

The @gamersoutreach.org Spooktacular Streamathon starts this week and I am representing the IDK Squad again! I will stream every day from Oct. 15-31, starting off Thursday at about 10am ET. Excited to help bring smiles to hospitalized kids! #SS2026 #charitystream #twitch #vtuber #foxtuber #halloween

Age yourself with a childhood crush. (Specifically that twink in the back seat.)

Lancer I love you But we gotta truncate this combat time, girl. Spending three hours for just four rounds of combat is murdering me. (I have a plan for this; this post is kinda half-joking. XD)

Hey! For those interested, I'll be streaming on @altstream.online in the near future! You can find me at altstream.online/creativekore... See y'all there!

Are you streaming on AltStream yet? If so, are you in the starter pack made by @melodywisp.bsky.social ? Join in and get found! 🎉

Just because the new server migration is going that doesn't stop me working! I was reviewing the information IGDB has and it allows me to also pull the AI disclosure from Steam! Cool, so let's hook that to the game search and add a nice little box to state where it uses AI for streamers and users!

We are now in Maintenance mode while we start moving the database across. We do not have an ETA on completion but I will not be sleeping until it's back. :) Sorry about the disruption! It's for the greater good!

So, I'm gonna straight up shill for @altstream.online, cuz holy shit this site is so good! The soul dev is veomous to AI, privacy overreach and Big Tech overall The site itself is simple in design and has this nice neon punk aesthetic to it. Last but not least, the dev actually gives a shit. XD

So, because there is so much interest that it bricked their website for a bit, I HIGHLY recommend checking @altstream.online's kofi! It's an amazing team crafting an amazing haven for streamers and viewers alike! And you get a cool supporter badge too. :3 ko-fi.com/altstream

We’re back online, but the servers are working overtime to stay afloat. Go play games, maybe a movie, take a nap, we’re not going anywhere, promise.

We recently hit 100, then a week later 150 and now only a few days later we’re 175+ users. It’s been really wonderful to see so many enjoying using the site, giving feedback and pointing out areas for improvement. Thank you to everyone who’s been giving this small platform a chance!

Good. Hit em with bear spray too while you're at it.

Our feature tutorial/artist today is this page on the FORMS of the PALM, by the talented @taco1704! Note how the MAIN PADS of the palm create a FLAT, TRIANGULAR CENTRE. Understanding this formation helps especially with FORESHORTENING, and OVERLAP at shallow angles! #manga #anime

The Wumpus Beatings will continue until morale improves.

Why buy Twitch Prime if all your streamers are being brand-dangerous chads? :3
